Good morning from down under great video as always 😮

This could have been settled without cuts😂…395’s are superior no matter how it pains me to say it 😆

Same findings here, the 660 is great, but nothing compared to the 394/395 in my opinion. They have alot of negatives like you said: carb,intake size, and intake timing. I'm just not a fan of them.

I get a different result. My 660 clone is faster than both my 395 clones. I bet Rich could build a hotter 660.

Stock or ported?
@IndianaDougКүн бұрын
@@Aaron_A_Lynch both so far. The Farmmac F660 is pretty hot stock.

I had to rebuild a G660 because of the China deluxe edition decomp broke and fell in the bore. It made the top of the piston look the surface of Mercury. I always recommend people remove them and either plug it or put an oem 395 decomp in.

That's the first mod I do to a saw whether I port it or not... I'm man enough to start them without it and poor enough not to be willing to risk smoking a jug because of a broken or leaking decomp valve

Think the 660 was more designed to be be a solid production saw, milling and such, never been impressed by them, 395 clones on the other hand, a much better beast imho

It is a huge difference for sure. Husqvarna is a better saw in my opinion anyway but R. F . does great work too. Cheers

They have sold a lot of G660 for the same price as the G395

Won't open a can of worms but I spend my money on Huskys.

When I got my g660 a few years ago, seemed the 395 "clones" weren't as well ironed out. If I were to order another 90+cc clone saw tomorrow, it'd likely be a 395. Your 660 is a strong runner but wow did Richard's 395 blow it out the water!

I have plans for the 660, but I won't be able to get it done for Sawfest this year. Hopefully next year I will port up a different cylinder and build a better intake setup so that I can use a radical carb. Fingers crossed.

@pallmall5495 I'm not waving a commie flag by no means but these inexpensive clones have opened a lot of doors to innovation and education in the performance saw porting community, it's a lot easier to be willing to risk an unproven porting technique on a sub 50$ cylinder than it is a 200+$ one! All of that knowledge is then carried over into making more powerful and more reliable OE manufacturer production saws, stuff that people earn a living with.... and on top of all that, it just plain fun.

Richard does a great job, look at every saw you’ve ran of his they are all fast asf 💨🔥🪵
