My uncle is a wildlife reserve anti poacher in South Africa. He showed me how to build a ghillie suit and I cannot understate how much these things make you disappear. I’ve had people walk mere meters past me without seeing us Edit: for anyone interested to build a ghillie get a base camo uniform, preferably jacket and trousers (jump suit can work) and a boonie hat. Super glue and sew a fishnet to the back, with extra going over the shoulder and down the arms and a small overhang over the butt. Get jute, dye it differently and cut bunches to different lengths. Then tie the jute to the fishnet using a slightly less than random sequence. (Try to make slight groups of colours but don’t blend the colours. And make sure to use random lengths of jute). Lots of KZbin video guides.

Wearing the Ghillie suit gives you the following: 100+ Sneak 10+ Accuracy with rifles 10+ Perception Perks: Oi, Suzy This perk allows you to distract your enemy as well as give you temporary firepower boost with sniper rifles.
@SoggyCoffeeAddict4 жыл бұрын
Or you could do the party cone hat for plus 11 perception. Soldiers foot wear for plus 40 sneak and plus 5 to accuracy and damage with military weapons. Ninja's pants for plus 31 sneak. Crazy Earl's vest for 37 sneak which gives the following perk Old man's ghost: which can be used for crazy Earl to show you how to double the damage of your next rifle shot for momentarily slowness. Or can be used to distract enemies with a crazy old man ghost That's why you never go for a set bonus. Things that don't look good will have better stats 😛🤷🏻♂️

Ok so there’s a compromise between effectiveness and ease of use. A full Ghillie is very effective but it’s hot and heavy and useless unless stalking. A compromise is a ghillie cape made from a piece of sniper veil material, cut a split in the veil and tie the corners to the edge forming a loop for your arms. Then add your jute material to the cape, again the compromise here is the more you add the more bulky this will be but the better the camouflage. Pair this with a boonie hat with netting stitched to the top and jute added and you have a fairly effective system that can be easily slipped on and off and fits in the pocket of your cargo pants.

Snipers have been assigned specialists since the late late 16th century, not the 20th century. Snipers were usually assigned as individuals within units who showed exceptional skills at shooting. During the Napoleonic wars there were a few small units as special sniper / marksman units. About the only change that came about in the 20th century was the establishment of permanent sniper training units and the formal issue of camouflage gear like a ghillie suit. Prior to that they were ad hoc systems organised by the individuals on a personal choice basis.

The Levatos Scouts are definitely the inspiration for the Tanith 1st and Only. Both are stealthy light infantry with Gaelic (or Gaelic inspired in the case of the Tanith) culture.

In the American war of independence Washington had German/Swiss jägers armed with early accurate rifles and they took out from distance first the Indian scouts or at least a few and the rest ran away then the officers.

You can hide yourself from thermal with a space blanket that’s how the Taliban does it
@pieterveenders97934 жыл бұрын
@@leonardoisidoro3224 I doubt that it's more than a fairly short-term solution, suitable if there is a helo in the vicinity which will likely have FLIR, but not so useful against most moderate to large drones (which fly high enough to be undetectable for anyone on the ground, yet they're perfectly capable of detecting ground threats). Aluminium blankets will cause you to overheat very quickly in warm climates.

4:39, the suit should be more puffy to hide the shape of the head and make the shape in line with the shoulders, as I recall. The head’s silhouette is still visible here. Edit: (Some other things) The legs and the some of the front of the suit can be omitted given that the sniper only exposes his head and upper torso in firing position. Also, scope and binocular lenses are covered by some in thin fabric or partially obstructed to prevent glare. A sniper should not make sudden moves or draw unnecessary attention to themselves, unlike the clip where the sniper is suffering in the heat. Some more advanced ghillie suits do have special fabric which prevents an unnatural heat signature.

Tut mir leid.)
