I truly wish I could have joined the early bird buy but I just got into espresso a week ago and bought a Gaggia Evo and a whole bunch of other accessories that ended up totaling around $1,000 usd. 1. Throwing shade at ECM 😂 2. Seemed to be a turbo - squirting a bit with that high flow towards the end 3. Not great latte art 😅 Still. Seems to be good value for money at this price point, good use of thermocoil tech. Looks like lots of plastic though - I wonder about internals, longevity, and support model for a Kickstarter? What happens 1-2-3-4 years down the line when something breaks? Chuck it in the bin or is it repairable?

@@thoughtsforthemind It's a lot better for a home machine, otherwise the heat up time would be rather long. Tom's coffee corner has a review on the machine and he said the steam power is quite amazing (if I remember correctly).

You can run a OTA to check the software is up-to-date should any problems occur with the touchscreen, but unfortunately no manual grinder operation by pulling physical handles or buttons
