I've watched, dare i say, thousands of your videos...i have been impressed with everything you have done on guitar...but that smooth, desicant pack out the sound hole to the palm move you pulled...wow! The bar just got raised!

I bought an Enya for exactly the reasons you explained. I can leave it in the car, take it camping, do basically whatever I want to it and not have to worry. Bonus - the thing just never goes out of tune.

Wouldn't a CF body and neck with a solid wood top be the best combo?
@davidfaustino4476Ай бұрын
Absolutely not. The issue with acoustic guitars is the top warping. No one is snapping necks.
@Metro_GnomeАй бұрын
Nope. I just bought this because I have seven REAL acoustics and they all belly and need neck resets at the 20 years mark ...if you play them and keep the strings tensioned k. The lifespan Wood loses the battle to steel wires. A carbon plate stands a decent fighting chance against them

? This Donner, okay in car heat? I used the link in your description- it said mahogany sides and back... I am a traveler too, & wood like a carbon fiber traveling friend and this guitars $250 price point is AOK IMHO. But if its not trunk capable, I'll keep looking. Sounds great in your hands. Love the channel. Thanks

I like my Sable a lot more than the Donner.

Wood and carbon fiber? No, don't do it! They behave differently, and you might kill everyone. Sorry, I've watched too many documentaries about the Titan tragedy.

Nice guitar, but am I the only one who cringed when he set that knife on the leather sofa?
@Sea_JayАй бұрын
Unless you are recording, playing live, the audience won't notice or care what your guitar is made of.
@wayneh8768Ай бұрын
Oh buddy, I went to a Taylor event this last weekend and of course they were pushing the Vclass bracing models. I said my 814ce is X class and nobody has ever asked me at a gig whether it was V or X. I didnt make any friends when I said V was a bit of marketing hype, and a few people spent a lot of time trying to convince me I was wrong about improved engineering benefits. Like you said, maybe it matters for recording but not a gig in a loud bar.

It's not about how it sounds it's about it playing properly. Stop being obtuse.
@jayemgee549Ай бұрын
Wouldn't any type of wood, whether it's solid or laminate, still have to be properly humidified? I'm not sure if this would be able to endure environmental changes like a true carbon or carbon composite guitar. It seems kinda like the worst of both worlds in that respect. As far as how the guitar looks and sounds, it seems good for the price. I'm just not sold on it being a good carbon fiber guitar for the purposes you where you need one.
@Eric_WrightАй бұрын
I think the inclusion of a silica packet in the body provides your answer
@jayemgee549Ай бұрын
@@Eric_Wright Perhaps, but I’d venture to say it’s because of the humidity of the place the guitar was manufactured (assuming it was built overseas).

No where in the donner literature does it say leave it in your car. don't be foolish.
