You know more about living a financially responsible life at 23 than many people ever learn. One other tip - pay attention to the interest rate on the purchase contract. The last car I purchased was a ZO6. With 50%down and a credit score of 830 the dealer tried to charge me twice the rate I was quoted by my credit union ( I checked BEFORE I shopped ) Get your facts before and read the fine print. All dealers are not honest and above board. ( I retired from General Motors - worked in product cost accounting) You have achieved a lot at an early age. With your knowledge and work ethic you will go as far as you want.

Nice video man, been watching for a while. Just turned 21 and purchased a 2010 Dodge Avenger R/T for my first car. Gonna work my way up to my dream car the Camaro Zl1 somewhere after the 2016 model or so. Been smart with my money so far. Thanks for the much needed knowledge

You can also add tradelines to your credit profile to boost your credit score to over 750. You can purchase a car with no money down but make sure you'll be able to make that car note a month. You will also be able to get other primary credit cards as well.

The wealthy do AT LEAST one of three things. Most do all three: 1) They own businesses or shares of business (stocks) 2) They own real-estate 3) They lend money (for the interest income) There are some jobs that are the exception, but by and large, you'll never get wealthy working for someone else. Now there's nothing wrong with working for someone else in and of itself, but so many people are underpaid and mistreated, it's a cultural problem with America. Most people driving new Lamborghinis, Bentleys, and Mclarens have people working for them, not the other way around.

TheHvk the only flip side to this that I can really think of is medicine ...

Many good points but I personally don't think anyone should buy a car more than half their salary. If you make 100k you can afford 50k on a car. My two cents

Even that's too much based on most estimates.

TheHvk Good point. I'm more on the conservative side. Much has to do with the cost of living where u live. I live in the greater Toronto area where the average price of a detached house is over a million. If you buy a house for 250k then buy all means spend your extra cash flow on a car.

If you still think a Vette is a super car. STOP!!!
@alvindavis37 жыл бұрын
That would be the FORD GT or Hennessy which is way better than a Vette. Clearly Chevy wants into the Super Car game or they wouldn't be building a rear engine Vette.
