Im now 34 with a 7 year old biological son im raising on my own (his dad passed away before he was born) and now im going through the process to become a foster parent too! But what a lot of people don’t think about is that it’s not the younger children who have a hard time finding good homes, it’s the teenagers who really need the most support before they become adults.

Glad you have other fosters in the house, they help set the standards and common-sense rules. My three took their youngest brother aside and told him to "cut the crap" or you will find yourself back in the horrible system. That helped snap him back, the anger was really at his mother (drugs) and I would listen.

Maybe. Or he could have good ole southern upbringing by his parents. Also, sometimes foster children put forth the effort to be super respectful and try to do everything right for acceptance. Once they know you will unconditionally love and support them, then they start to let their guards down, relax and reveal some imperfections.
