I went to see this in theatres and walked out not knowing what to feel. It was a lot different than the commercials made it seem. We were so used to see just goofy comedies but this was a dark comedy. Jim Carey was the crazy bad guy and it threw people off. Made us feel uncomfortable lol. At the time I just wanted another “mask” or ace Ventura . I love the movie now though .

How could anyone think that Liar Liar (1997) was better than The Cable Guy (1996)? The Cable Guy (1996) came out when I was only 5. I loved it ever since. It also happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time. When Liar Liar (1997) came out the following year, a lot of people were like “Liar Liar is hilarious!” Yeah right, oh please!
