Funny that this just popped up. I'm getting my application for a passport so I can go to Poland to help save pets that aren't able to escape with their family. Might even go to Ukraine if I get the balls to. (Some countries and airlines won't allow them to bring their pets).

This shelter is one of the most compassionate I've seen in years! Their empathy, kindness, and love of these fur kids is so overwhelming I've cried just watching their facebook page daily. I may not understand the language, but you don't have to; to see the love and caring they provide for the souls in desperate need of comfort, food and shelter. I hope the guardians of these kids find their way back once they have situated themselves as much as they can. Their babies will give them comfort and love in their time of need as well. I haven’t heard anything about the hundreds of farm animals left behind. Cows need to be milked twice a day unless they still have a calf. What about all the horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, etc.? Are they all still in their barns or pens? Do they have any food or water? Or were they turned loose to forage for themselves?

Most people evacuated their livestock but not everyone had enough time if the fire moved too fast. Always had animals, often injured, wandering the charred landscape afterwards. Are caves common in the Ukrainian regions being shelled?

I am polish and i must to say vets from Ada Clinic are the best. ☺️ They will fight till the end for every animal. Many times miracles happend because of them. They treat not only body but also souls and when animals are ready they are serching for their forever home. 🥰

I remember my mother saying during WWII and when London was being blitzed by the German bombers many animals were euthanised.
