Got married at 25, I didn't have many assets, even our pastor recommended an antinuptial contract. It was the best R3000 we spent on a lawyer and it was quick. Still happily married. As people we need to rid this idea that antinuptials are you pre-planning for a divorce.

For me it was protection against debt, I didn't want to be inheriting debt down the line and not having some financial freedom down the line and we both agreed to that. When we met the lawyer she made us list out assets to see the value of the things we're coming into the marriage with. A whole me ended up having a larger balance than him. I didn't expect it shem and I don't think they asked us about investment policies and what not ngoba he would have outweighed me. Yoh Brain and wife they are greedy walking Devils. Incukuthu ngesiXhosa. This is eye opening story we need to be very careful with ownership of houses. Our family we 3 too one boy. I did realized the law things first hand and had a family meeting and said no one is owing the house as siblings. Luckily we all had our houses and agreed not even our kids needs to stay there to avoid all the mess. The house has a caretaker and we renting other rooms. We all free to go back home to do rituals. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I made my mum get the title deed of our house to prove that it was in her name cause it used to belong to my dad before he passed on and they were not married. I wanted to ensure that my uncle's don't have any claims over the house before we started making changes to it cause family will show you flames
