these videos are the BEST ever to come out from the IFBB. by far .. please finish ALL the categories. there is so much ambiguity on what judges are looking for but this vastly paints a more detailed picture on what is needed. the one thing i dont like is the compared to last year comments. It should be a single snapshot of right when they competed on stage at that moment and not comparing them to their last year look. how would u compare someone who this is their firs time on Olympia stage? there is no they improved or were as good as last year. but again .. very good material.. BRAVO IFBB these detailed commentary are game changers !!!

Saying Urs was a bit off in conditioning and fullness this year really surprises me... Especially comparing him with Chris and Ramon at 3:29 he seems to be the most shredded of the 3. Also he was very full this year but still showed great conditioning IMO. Thanks for the recap though!

Appreciate the transparency Tyler, a few points Please stop mentioning 'last year this, last year that' - its irrelevant. You're either judging the physiques presented on the day + against eachother, or against how they looked previously. Also, please let us know what constitutes classic? If its arnold - wesley is the champ and chris's legs are too big, and we know how important arms were in the day. Chris and Urs have awful arms. Breons not classic? He looks like a jackes robby robinson - the literal bust of weiders image? Werent the classic proportions of the golden era - slightly smaller in the upper legs anyway? Even Haney era the legs were smaller? No lat spread? (Its not classic?), but you genuinely attemp judging a "favourite pose" where everybody hits a completely different pose? What is the criteria exactly? Lastly, why the weighting of shredded glutes being "classic"?

I don't think today's classic physique has anything to do with other eras of bodybuilding, it's a different thing. And it seems to me that the class has evolved into its own way and, as Chris said it himself, he stablished a standard of the type of look they're looking for. Even though I disagree with this way of running things that's basically it: accentuated X frame with huge lats and quads plus a deep vacuum is what classic physique is about

Im sorry but there's no way urs is winning the front db. Its true the fact that urs legs are much better from the front but the flow, conditioning, maturity of breon just pops out a lot... So thats why we the fans think breon won cuz were 3 poses super clear for breon (front db, back db and sidechest). Actually in the chris vs ramon im pretty agree with tyler's point of view. Although i would give abs and thighs clearly for ramon and front db just too close i don't know. Overall i would say that this explanations in this video are way more convincing than the ones from open division

Chris’s back double took Ramon. Flows better than Ramon. Wider than him, proportions are better. The whole nine. Yes Ramon has more detail, but it doesn’t flow not nearly as good as Cbums. Ramons legs look stringy, lats don’t pop. Arms also don’t look like they flow well with his back double. IMO, Chris beat Ramon in every pose without a single doubt, once again. I will say Chris’s conditioning wasn’t as good as last years, but Chris was also bigger. All around. Chris weighed in at 237 last year. This year 242.

I don't agree with Ramon having good arms. He's got good forearms but that's overdeveloped.

I think that because ramon's arms are more round and his biceps is longer, that makes his arm more visually fluid than Chris in my opinion, but Chris posing is so good that is hard to see it on stage
