Bang on. What a simple and clear cut explanation. After being in a narcissistic relationship for 10 years and coming out after knowing about this disorder. I can say you have touched most of point. In india people are not much aware about such disorder but we are producing more and more. I wish people become more and more aware about this disorder. It’s literally hell living with such demons. My elder brother is a narcissist and he has made my parent's life hell. We just thought that he is a wicked child, but now only after seven years, we have come to know that he is suffering from NPD. Mam may be you are misunderstanding him. Look for following factors:- 1. Has he isolated you from your family. 2. Has he isolated you from your friends. 3. Does he criticise your friends. 4. Does he control what you wear. A single video might not be enough to come to a conclusion. A narcissist hardly has true friends and has relations just for benefits. They "chose" their friends. Actually friends just become friends and there is nothing like choosing a friend. A narcissist typically has friends who are way younger than him or her, that gives him control. He typically tries to isolate you from your parents, siblings and relations. I too am struggling with similar issues and first thing i did was to look for videos about narcissism, i also had video about whether am a narcisssit just to have a deeper insight.

Unko khush karne ki ya unse validation lene ki koshish karogi to b vo nahi badlenge balki isse tumhari hi mental health kharab hogi. Btw I am turning 19 soon and I fought with them whenever they tried to control me. I choosed for myself whenever I could. Also I allignated myself from them. They are still the same I still feel depressed around them. Ab vo is baat ko lekar tension m h ki shayad m hostel jaa kar unhe yaad b na kru. Recently came out of a narc relationship. The worst part of this kind of relationship is you wont realize how wrongly you are being treated till you come out of it. My ex is a narc and she made my life very difficult. At first she used to do all the things which I desired from my partner. She totally build a perspective like she was a person whom I cannot have or difficult to find a person like her. Then once I was in her fake made up personality she slowly started violating my personal boundaries like my office things, my friends and other things. If I would oppose she would react as if I have done something major wrong. Silent treatment was given to me. Manipulated me like I was at the fault. She was really hard to please.. no matter what I did. It was never enough. She used to talk and think very negatively like nidhi said. She couldn't handle criticism. Created fuss in small small things. And finally... something happened between us and she her self brokeup. I am still not able to understand why she brokeup maybe I started standingup for myself and was no more a puppet. I am really thankful it happened.. if you are into one or you can relate to the video pls pls walk away from narc. You cannot fix them or make them understand that they are wrong. It is worthless. So save your self. No matter how beautiful or charming the person is or how great the sex is or anything else just walk away.

Idealise, devalue n discard.. u wont see this bullet train coming towards u until u are hit and crashed to pieces by it. Thanks for this video..its really life changing for many.... i have also faced this situation ... although it was a love marriage 18 years ago...lmy life after marriage was full of criticism and blaming etc .. although he is good ,loves me too.... but his narcissistic traits were killing me inside...i lost my worth... felt worthless.... developed many health issues..... But the story started changing since few years...i started practicing all the tricks explained in this video somehow with gods blessings.... i removed all expectations... I accepted the fact that his nature can't be changed...i started making myself distant from him from inside... started doing regular prayer and breathing meditation.... and started focusing on becoming financially independent... Now i am in much much much better position...all my health issues has resolved...i m emotionally much balanced and strong....i feel good from inside....his behaviour has become better than before ...... but I don't care much....i try to not react on anything... neither interfere in his business........

Mujhe NPD hai.....ye mjhe tab realize jab mere saare relationship khrb ho gye.....tb mjhe iss bimari k baare me pta chala.......Ye mjhe mere father se mila hai aur unhone bht torture kiya bachpan me....meri mother ki jindagi bekaar ho gyii hai.....uske husband aur sirf 1 ladka dono ek trh hai.......Mere pass suicide krne k alwa aur koi option nhi hai because it is near impossible to change your behaviour that you nurtured in the childhood......mjhe nhi pta chala ki mai yese kyun behave kr rhaa huuu.....kyoki meri ek alg hi duniya hai....illusion se bhari hui.....na mai sadness feel kr sakta huu naa happiness naa love naa hate.... actually I have no feeling......Jo log bhi mera comments padh rhe....please jab apka baccha childhood me ho to please usko chahe kch do ya na do......empathy jaroor dena nhi to wo monster ban jaayega aage jeevan me......please it is request.....

Imagine watching this video to know about other person but you find out that you're the one who's narcissistic (kind of ) not 100% but 40% but that maybe because of immaturity because i am just 18 yrs old and its totally understandable teenagers behave this way and also because of childhood trauma and other stuff atleast i had the guts to accept that i have SOME of these traits

I visited a restaurant. The server was being mistreated bya manager with a hot temper creating a drama attacking a brand new employee with little training because her co workers all called off sick. This wreched task master would not roll up his sleeves to train her but yelled at her to do dishes and take drive up orders and yell at her for not clearing off tables and she waited on me the bestshe could and I noticed the security cameras recording all this. A few days later, she no longer works there, and I asked the owner why she is not working here and he told me she was not qualified according to what his assitant manager said. I asked the owner if these camers are hooked up to a video tape machine and if so, does he keep a regular library of videos and he said yes we do. Why do you ask? I told him about that evening i came and what i saw, and that none of the employees came to work and how this employee did more than this narcissistic assistant manager did by gas lighting her and yelling at her with no mercy! He went to his office and ran the tape and the woman got her job back and the other manager who fired her was chewed out by the boss showing his assistant the tape had him terminated from his job. I give God praise for providing this woman a witness and devine deliverance. I cannot imagine the type of upbringing some people had that corrupted them or know the causes of such personality disorders.
