I think you’re looking at the game wrong, the first game was an attack game plan the second game was more of a defensive game plan.

hard disagree, we cant just go throwing players to the wayside every time we have a less than desirable outcome, majority of our tries last year from inside the 20 metre were choreographed by mahoney, he was incredible at the eels when he stuck to his role and didnt try so hard. and for burton, thats just silly, every win we've gotten over the last 2 years burton was best on field, its only a trial but his kicking and running was incredible he just needs a spine he can stick with and build a connection with, we've got incredible strike on the outside if we can get the basics under control and defence was a big one
