Great message to today's Body of Christ. The parallel between the corporate businesses and church is a good one. I really enjoyed the tail-gate story as well. One church tradition that can use change is this: The church must help meet needs 24/7 not just on Sundays. Sure, church folk will honor Sundays, but non church folk that hurt throughout the week can't wait until Sunday. Pastors love Sundays because it's their time to shine. But the true light of Christ must shine every day. When the Church pulls off its Sunday rope and puts on its daily serving attire the world will take notice.

MrsJ 972 He’s previous examples of the organ player and drummer described how people were acting crazy, and being fake and his mom called it the Holy Spirit. So when he was about to throw up His grandma said it was the Holy Spirit which had nothing to do with him throwing up. So pretty much some church people will equate anything to the Holy Spirit. So if it makes you run into a wall and hurt yourself, kick drums into the crowd or vomit because of something he ate. He doesn’t want it. Pretty much a story or joke about people being fake or not knowing what the Holy Spirit is...

the barber who told him the reason why he didn't go to church was because it was boring. Who cares what the world thinks about the church when we are pleasing, keeping His standards in His house and living for Him. The Christian is there to learn about God, live like the Bible tells us to live and go into the world and save souls. Don't get me wrong, I like a good clean laugh, but God's house is a house of prayer, worship, edification, encouragement and saving souls. I believe comedy shows should be in comedy clubs not in the house of God. And, Yes I do understand that it's good to laugh and we need to laugh, because according to Proverbs 17:22 "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed Spirit dries up the bones".
