Can I plug this into my electric guitar amplifier? If not what about my Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen? Will I have to buy an acoustic amplifier for this? Does it come with a bow?

It's a quarter inch output, so you can plug it into any guitar amplifier. You can also plug it into the Focusrite, which is what we used in making this video. You won't need an acoustic amplifier. However, it depends on the sound you're going for. Many electric guitar amplifiers are designed for guitars. So certain frequencies may be more present. The Focusrite will give you the cleanest / original tone coming from the instrument. These NS Design violins do not come with bows.

to get the best sound quality you need impedance matching, which means a preamp with an ultra high imledance input that provides a buffer and allows the sound to flow through without loading down the passive pickup with a low impedance input.
