Great video! Do you believe in special exercises? How low a resting heart rate can be useful in the Triphasic system?

Love Cal and the Triphasic training approach but I am confused as to how some of this applies to anaerobic events such as 800m/1500m runners. Cal says not to Train for two things at once as the body is confused. Distance runners train for endurance year round. They don't take months off to concentrate on strength training so the two have to co exist.
