I had some Madora (caterpillars of an Emperor moth) from Zimbabwe. They were really nice, tasted like scrambled egg with shredded prawn or in terms of other nations cuisine: If you're Jamaican it tastes a bit like Ackee & Salt Fish; if Portuguese a bit like Bacalhau á Brás or if Australian exactly like witchetty grubs. The last one is not surprising since those are moth caterpillars too. Now back to the video, I want to know what grasshoppers taste like...

Caterpillars!? One man's meat is another man's poison 😂😂😂 Sorry to laugh dear but in Uganda caterpillars r nightmare to some of us
@gustavmeyrink_2.0
@gustavmeyrink_2.0 Жыл бұрын
@@blissug4290 Seems the tree those caterpillars live doesn't grow in Uganda which is unfortunate for you. Besides attracting specific caterpillars their wood is also termite resistant so very useful for building, furniture, railway sleepers etc and as firewood, for charcoal and even musical instruments like clarinets, twigs are used as toothbrushes, the leaves aid healing wounds and the bark to make rope and for tanning leather. Another moth which uses this tree to host it's caterpillars is the silk moth so besides food you can also get expensive cloth from it.
