​@@pavelmedbery3055 Basically, in most music, there are 12 distinct notes that you can use. (They exist multiple times, but in higher and lower registers called octaves). A major or minor scale, strictly speaking, uses only 7 of those 12 distinct notes. That's called diatonic - using only the notes within a given scale, usually major or minor. However, even when you're in a specific scale, it's perfectly normal to sometimes use notes that are outside of that scale to make the chords or the melody sound more interesting. Those notes are often referred to as "non-diatonic notes". When making these "XYZ but in major/minor" remixes, it's often difficult to deal with non-diatonic notes because 1. they could make it sound really weird or 2. a note that's non-diatonic in a minor scale might actually just be diatonic in a major scale, or vice-versa. So often times, people omit them entirely when making these remixes, instead just turning them into the next best diatonic note (now that I think about it, it's kind of comparable to rounding in math). This dude, however, mostly kept the non-diatonic notes so the melody stayed as great as it should be.
