Namaste, Yogini. Ideally, it is advisable to buy a guide book for preparation, since you'll find everything in one place. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any good UGC NET Yoga guide book which covers the complete syllabus. But I would still recommend you to buy this book, since it is the best that is available, as far as I know. www.amazon.in/UGC-Net-Yoga-Paper-Exam-Guide/dp/9387604586/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ugc+net+yoga&qid=1612025423&sr=8-3 Whatever topic is not available in it, you will have to search for it online. Some of them, like Yoga Upanishads, you will find on our channel. Others, I'm sure you should be able to find online if you look for it. But overall, this book should be very helpful. So do consider buying it. Good luck! :)

@@riniagarwal338 I understand what you mean. But as I said, I'm not aware of anything better. I don't think we have any good guide book for NET Yoga yet. There are a couple of books in Hindi, if I'm not wrong. One by Arihant publishers, who are considered good in this area. You could look them up too.

Hello, I've done my masters in Sanskrit and a PG diploma in Yoga, will I be eligible to take up UGC NET in YOGA? Please let me know. Thank You for your wonderful explanation🙏

Namaste, Yogashree. I would suggest clarifying this with UGC. The rules regarding eligibility for NET are a bit vague. Ideally you must have a PG degree in the NET subject (which you don't), but if your PG subject is sufficiently related to the NET subject, you will be eligible to give NET in the field. For instance, I was able to give NET in Philosophy with my Masters in Yoga and I got my certificate after convincing UGC/NTA that my PG subject was sufficiently related to my NET subject. I do not know what parameters UGC/NTA follow to determine similarity in such cases. If you have already applied for NET, you can go ahead and give it. There should be no problem with appearing in the exam. The problem, if any, will arise only after the result is announced and the certificates are available for download. In case UGC finds your credentials insufficient, you will not be able to download your NET/JRF certificate. Even then, you can communicate with UGC and convince them that your Sanskrit PG and Yoga PGD had enough elements of Yoga to make you eligible for giving NET Yoga. If they are satisfied, you will be able to download the certificate/award letter. Hope this helps. All the very best for NET.

Namaste, Vasu. As far as I know, you need a masters degree - or should be pursuing a masters degree - in the subject you're giving NET in. I do not think a PG Diploma will grant you eligibility. However, I would recommend you to contact NTA directly regarding this. They might grant some allowance.
