@@2nickles647Thanks…I am working on another video right now. We ended up snapping the axles at the Baja 1000. We tortured the crap out of them, but I think the higher HP, 5.38 gears, Spool and 40in tires were too much for them especially when we were full sending the truck. In the new video I put in Yukon Axles. Super easy to swap out later if you have an issue.

@@ntdracing I got my new bearings. Got them installed on the carrier. Got the pinion bearing installed too. Since I don't have a press. I heated up the bearing in hot motor oil. The carrier bearings dropped right on. Tapped them to make sure they are seated. Pinion bearing, same step, the hot oil heated up the bearing just fine. Bearing dropped on like nothing. Tapped it and it's seated. Dropped my new crush sleeve on, heated the outer pinion bearing up in oil and dropped it in place. Now the hard part of getting the crush sleeve tighten. My impact could only do so much. Then a long cheater bar. I slowly crept up on the preload on the pinion. As per the new bearing setup. It's between 20 or 30 inch pound. I got lucky at 25 inch pound. Friday I will finish up my task. I'm working tomorrow morning. Again I watched your video and will make sure I set the big window on the pinion carrier correct. I couldn't be more happy I found your channel. God bless you and your team.
