Very cool. What would you need to add a color burst?

There is enough bandwidth to add color and enough memory. The data state machine would need to be modified a lot.

@@ece4760 Now one thing I've never been able to get a good answer for is... I know that color burst is that 3.58 something mhz right before the scan line, but does that vary at all? I mean does it change at all and if so, what determines the change? Do you have a good link that explains it clearly?

@@GORF_EMPIRE Color burst and color hue are carried by exactly one frequency. What varys with hue is the phase. The color burst sets the zero phase reference.
