A group of religious leaders from Rwenzori sub-region and other members and staff of the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda, have been blocked from seeing Rwenzururu King Charles Wesley Mumbere. The Police officers who refused to allow the clerics access the palace in Muyenga, a Kampala suburb, said they had not been notified of the visit ahead of time since they are in charge of the king's security. The disappointed clerics told NTV that they had come to deliver an easter message and pray with the family of the King who remains under police surveillance after the High Court recently granted him bail.
