Proof that you don’t need hundreds of millions to produce a good movie.

Not even that: these visuals haven’t been seen in Hollywood since the 2000s (outside of Gareth Edwards movies and MONSTERVERSE) and puts almost all other Hollywood films to shame.

This movie is our century's Jaws. Both movies show the monster briefly but when shown they make it worth while. Both had low and limited budgets, but went above and beyond with the effects and setting, both are ofc monster movies, and due to the limited budget they both focused on story and characters to fill in for less monster time.

@@johnrion3232at the beginning the Pilots were volunteers. It started in 1944 battle of Leyte in the Philippines. For the time coming all were volunteers. This changed - meaning the pilots were chosen for Kamikaze. This disturbed many of the Pilots. Thus many started drinking and behave disorderly. In general they still obeyed their orders. In April 1945 Battle of OKINAWA absolutely all Kamikaze Pilots were non-volunteers. The last reserves of planes had been accumulated and hidden in the dshungel. Even though the moral went down by having Pilots chosen rather then Volunteering, Hundreds of kamikaze planes attacked the fleet that supported the troops on Okinawa turning the American sailor into a nervous wreck. All Pilots were chosen to fly to their death for Japan. The entire army on the island turned into a Kamikaze that stopped the US invasion in it's tracks. The American units bleeded nearly out. Intel knew that after victory in Okinawa, the high command of Japan prepared the homeland Japan to be a Kamikaze itself by engaging the last planes. The Civilians were indoctrinated & trained to attack all Americans.
