I honestly think this song is one of a very select few that I have ever heard, and would say is PERFECT. I get chills every time I hear the chorus; especially when you notice the Hurdy-Gurdy and flute implementation as an extra kick for the chorus. The mixture of all of the sounds is just spot on, and the violin solo rocked it. My favorite song from Origins is still Silver Sister, because it's the one I use to practice my vocals on personally, and it's just such a beautiful song.. But King.. King is musical perfection.

Its more than likely a penny whistle (aka tin whistle) that is larger than the common key of D, so key of C, B or A. You blow ON a flute from the side, not IN when in in your mouth. Im pretty sure they have the same fingering as penny whistle and Low Whistle (low whistle and Uillean pipes aka Irish pipes are commonly known from the Braveheart and Titanic soundtracks)

IMO, this band is the one who can define Rock Music in general. From the instruments, the beat, the vocals, the screamo/vocal fry, fast violins ,etc. I am so glad to have found Eluveitie today
