And for the first time I can hear Simone's vocals flourish on another level, that's why composer's work it's extremely important! Btw, check out his other project with Dutch singer Anekke Van Giersbergen called: "The Gentle Storm" you will find similarities with this one.

First, what a great song that gets even better the more often it is listend to. The growth of Simones voice is actually really impressive. Over the last years there are numerous breathtaking performances like "Rise again" in London or "Once upon a nightmare" in the Covid concert. I don`t know what it is it all sounds fuller, more versatile - it cuts deeper. We live in a time with so many amazing female vocalists but Simone has her place among the very best. Congrats both of you to this great collab, really looking forward what will be next - vinyl is preordered for sure.
