Therion, which was formerly Blitzkrieg, Megatherion, is a Swedish Symphonic Metal Band and has Death Metal & Thrash Metal in past so you can hear the beating rhythm and guitar riffs & melodies and awesomeness in all of their songs especially this one. Thomas Karlsson, the head and founder of the magical order of the Dragon Rouge, has provided lyrics for the band since 1996. This album Gothic Kabbalah is the thirteenth full-length album by Therion, it was released in Europe on 12 January 2007. The album was mixed by Stefan Glaumann. The main line-up has changed: Petter Karlsson returned to playing drums, Christofer Johansson announced in 2006 he is retiring from singing, vocals on this album were performed by Mats Levén, Snowy Shaw, and three female singers: Katarina Lilja, Anna Nyhlin, and Hannah Holgersson. This album was released on the Nuclear Blast Record Label and classified as Symphonic Gothic Metal and Progressive Metal. “Son of the Staves of Time” is Track #5 on the album and was written by Mats Levén. I love that this is the most watched Therion video on KZbin. I've always thought that the first CD from Gothic Kabbalah is Therion's best album, which is weird because Christofer Johnsson wrote part of only 1 of those songs. This is by far the best lineup they've had. Levén, Karlsson and the Niemann brothers were great in this.

This was arguably Therion's finest line-up. Around 2006-7. Mats leven, Snowy, Petter, the Neumann brothers and Lori + Katarina (and of course the maestro). Although Mats' replacement, Mr Vikstrom, is damn fine too. The ever-changing line-up is one of the reasons this band has remained interesting for more than 20 years.
