@emanuel_soundtrack2 жыл бұрын
it is because of the background chorus and the guitar sound that is clear again, remembering Queen’s tone. It misses melody but i am happier now with this revival! The “cool” and unlyric melodic remembers the first just albums, and principally Follow the Blind, the most 🤘 , but still very especial for me. It was my Lord of the Rings ST ;) The mix is flawless transparent. but fits good and has clear vocal line. Way better than Iron’s last album But for me Blind’s best is their melodic, this should be otherworldly folk music on hysteroids, and Somewhere Far Beyond hits hard in the heart with this. I suggest you all the Elden Ring ST

@@williantagliari9421 i got to know this only recently while researching about what games are doin todayl and got mind blowed. Normaly i dont like this what most call "epic", like block orchestration with poor harmony.... I mention the music of Alex Mukala (who should definetely work with BLind ....) But in this case it is truly of our time, modern, medieval, welll made, carrrefully loved, and possibly concert music as well. IN these sense of the video i did about epic. SO i got happy with this, and the flaws are understandable ( no woodwinds, shy choir climaxes, lack of punch in the mix). About the mix i guess they wanted something very soft, to not annoy after a long play. NOw as normal hearing experience it misses a lot of kicks and sounds overcompressed in the (huge monumental) climaxes. Anyway a source of inspiritation and reference for me, for my own compositions for game! Loved the monument and share them proudly

@@mikeprado30 Yes, in the speed and aggressiveness, something that forged the band's fan base, I think that even in "Nightfall in the Middle Earth" the band still had a lot of these characteristics, despite being a more balanced album between aggressiveness and progressiveness, from from then on, speed and aggression were left a bit aside, with the exception of At the Edge of Time, which still had really furious moments. We'll see what The God Machine will bring, but so far I've liked the heavier approach of the new songs.

I have to admit: I am a fan of the bards since always and always appreciated their evolution through the years. I consider Beyond the Red Mirror a masterpiece and LotDL a peak that cannot be repeted by anyone. When this album came out, I was afraid that the loss of their orchestreal-style would have been a step back, but maybe it was I the one not ready for a much more heavy album. Bought it on vinyl and CD to hear every note, it didn't catch me after few listening. But their music is like this, once u hear it over and over, it reminds an old friend who came back to your life after ages of silence. The God Machine geve me all these feelings: songs like this one are incredible peak in the album, and maybe the right concept of music following more orchestral project like the previeus. Damnation, f.e., its an amazyng piece of art (I am a fan of the King Killer Chronicles myself) and a song easy to sing along, fast and powerfull like only the Blind Guardian componment. After many listenings all the album show itself as the perfect creation the bards could give us. Thank you for always giving me differet feelings any time one of your work sees the light. Seems impossible to you dissapoint your audience. Just Incredible. long live the Bards \m/_(^-^)

Der Track erinnert mich ganz stark an die frühen Alben, was bestimmt vielen Fans sehr gefällt. Ich sehe starke Paralellen zu ‚Time what is Time‘.
