Not right in that Immediate area, but there are a few spots with a bunch of metal about 1000 yards away. I know of a few spots just littered with Cans in other pits LBPA4Life

trees do not heal they do however encapsulate an injury. Kinda like scar tissue. This wood is more dense and would rot slower than the rest of the tree. Thus your encapsulated bullets. Fascinating finds, but gold is better.

Hydraulic mining is a form of mining that uses high-pressure jets of water to dislodge rock material to move sediment. the pit is the area worked

As usual, the Dynamic Duo was off to a rocky start but after rounding up the usual suspects of square nails, bullets and lead our heroes were able to shake them down and save the gold nuggets that were being held captive in the ground. Good work guys.

I’d say it’s to shore up timbers if they used it to beat on rocks the head would be completely mushroomed and the tips would be dulled
