This just shows how much better Jokic is than Embiid. Embiid tries his best to get 40+ to win MVP and Jokic efficiently and easily scores 40+ when he can't get his teammates more involved.

Actually, and I am not 100% sure because we only saw it once, Bam lightly grazed Jokic with his forearm on that play. I think it was a big much to call a foul, but I can see what they thought they saw and you're not supposed to touch anyone when shooting

So glad Bryan mentioned that the refing was ridicolous against nuggets in this game with those 5 out of bounds calls in a row going to maimi when 3 clearly were off miami and they were going to get blown out and then some 50/50 calls and the goal tending.. Miami closed well but the reffing put them in a position to be able to have the opportunity to close and win this game.. of course despite all of that the nuggets had a chance to win still

really? so clear goaltend and jimmy pass for 3 out of bounds are not up there? i agree about Jokics 3pt attempt (yes by the book he did not leave landing space, but a really really soft call)
@emoneyizhereson
@emoneyizhereson Жыл бұрын
@@crnisinliha6960 It was horrible both ways. Bam got fouled multiple times with no call, Caleb got hit in the head on a driving layup, Lowry called for the push-off against Jokic when Jokic and Murray both do similar moves while dribbling, etc. So many missed calls on both ends, but that's not what decided the game

The Tyler Herro question really is a tough one. If the Heat go down 2-0, it's a no brainer that you play him. That said the nice thing is that Strus and Caleb Martin were awful in game 1. They played well in game 2, but Tyler Herro could get some run and play terrible and at least he won't get blamed if they lose the series if he has one bad game.

No one gets more calls than Jokic. He pushes off constantly and rarely gets whistled. In game 1, he pushed someone down to the ground. No whistle. He also got away with hooking Duncan Robinson and pulling him to the floor. Meanwhile, a much smaller Robinson got called for merely having his arm extended while driving on Jokic. They have "the most talent" and the altitude and the "best player." They're the #1 seed and were far better rested coming into this series. The Heat were coming off a grueling 7 game series, sleeping at hotels for a straight week and now in the altitude, so fatigue is expected. Butler's ankle has been sore and his father is very sick. Caleb Martin has the flu. Herro was their leading scorer. Denver has no room to cry about anything.

Nuggets are obviously better than the Knicks, are better than the Bucks with an injured Giannis, and are better than the Celtics, who were a regular season team with an inexperienced coach. It's cute the Heat won a game and I'm happy for them, but this is a re run of the finals three years ago. A well coached, talented team that ends Miami's run. Barring an injury to jokic or murray, this series is over in 6, if not 5.
