Flipping the layout is genius as it makes sense in our tropical climate. Hot air rises, cold air sinks. Western castles of medieval times used this to their advantage and installed rooms on the higher floors, even lifted the beds up high above the floor to make the most of the hot air. In our climate, it makes sense to put the cooler, shadier bedrooms below. More eco-friendly too! Love this house, and love your content as always :D

This is my favourite home. From the indoor trees, huge skylights, different levels on the 2nd floor and the general feeling of being outside! The stairs are genius with the sun filtering through them, they look so light and airy. What a successful build, no wonder they don't want to leave home, I wouldn't either!

I respected their work on the house when I realized the minimal artificial lighting. This shows that it was rebuilt with intention. The flavour humm the big brain, the power and the execution!!! Chef's kiss(pun intended)

By far the best house to-date featured here. I’m blown away. But, im a bit sceptical having a glass at the rooftop as it may create heat due to the nature of the glass against sun itself. I would more appreciate if it can be explain in details or perhaps next video will features architect to explain on the out of norm design and their justification.

As a female, I simply would not feel safe, if I had to park on the streets. Sadly, the chances of being robbed, or worse, is too high. It is not uncommon for assailants to wait for victims to exit the car, then hold them at knifepoint, thereby gaining entry to the home.

I was amazed by the staircase the moment I saw it and was happy that they explained how it was built. The whole house is really beautiful and I can imagine how nice it is to live there. I've been many times in Malaysia and I've seen really good architecture and interior design there. This house is a great example.

the stair is like wood carving, fruit from intricate and tedious labour for no real functional detail but expression of artistic detail. but need careful of kids toe getting trapped and vermins living in the gap
