Yes , it’s much cleaner to work with and allows for easy changes compare to after effects . It’s just less time consuming to change specific things and more accessible/easier to do .

I love after effects, but nuke provides much more detailed overview with its tree structure. It is also comparatively less of an overload for bigger projects.
