You have to keep some range to your opponent and if he wants to block you'll break his arm.
@Lobo84937 жыл бұрын
You would strike the joints to break like the wrist , Elbow Shin, Knee cap . Hit right behind the ear and out he will go . Damn learn the right way before you think you are a master .

hes just showing people how to perform these techniques.. obviously a dummy wont hit back -.- but i dont think he would teach how to fight if the moves werent effective, and its not like your going to get into any nunchaku fight any time soon
@bikerV411 жыл бұрын
your nunchacku seems kind of light. it will not do enough damage is opponent protecting himself with hands and has like leather jacket on. I used to have heavier nunchacku custom made of titanium. It's way more effective in street fight then wooden. Besides you don't need so much speed in real fight really only for show off:) but metal also looks good in this case:)
@vincentf77066 жыл бұрын
if he hits you on your guard with these nunchaku it would break your fingers or wrist

After couple of those kind of hits, an actual person wouldn't hit back too XD

So I learned how to do that almost 20 years ago and you are officially the first person that I've come across in that time that knows the secret to redirect the power curve away from you. I'd be willing to bet that if you do that with speed-chucks the bearings are toast after about three strikes, right? Salute! (palm cups fist, pulls to cat)

Is why i prefer corded chucks. Not saying chain are bad, theres good ones but cord is simple and replaceable

If you're going to get nunchaku with a chain connector, then I'd def go with U Swivels over bearings

I just realized something while watching your video that I had not realized before, I know it might be a very obvious thing and actual common knowledge for the experts, but I just realized it now, every movement can only have three purposes, and it must always have at least two, purposes being: positioning, feint or distraction, and strike, so that when you position yourself or are already positioned you follow up with a strike, and when you don't strike you position to do so while also feinting a strike, so no movement is without purpose, you either feint or strike.

You have given sound advice. It's far different from twirling your nunchakus in the air without a target. Some people may criticize you for using a dummy that doesn't strike back, but it's a good training stuff. I've tried to give a video response of the type of training we used in the old days, but I'm not sure if it will reach you here, because I'm just using a wireless broadband. I live in the countryside in the Philippines. I have it in my channel just in case it won't reach you here.

This is the best tutorial that i found. I signed up on your channel. You're very kind. Forgive my intrusion. Why do you prefer nunchaku rope and not the current. Do you think this best practice for this? Thank you.
@SifuNate10 жыл бұрын
It doesn't make as much noise and won't pinch you when you do contact spins around your neck. I have found a few chain nunchucks that are not that noisy though, but at the time I only knew of all chain nunchucks to be loud.
