How many layers did you lay on top of wool yarn please .? What type of layout did you use for the final layers?

Hi Deborah , I used one layer on top of yarn. Shingling it , either in one direction , herringbone at an angle or you can cross hatch it to give it a denser cover. With Nuno the aim is to keep it light with minimal layers migrating into the silk, this gives it a better drape. If it’s too thick it will be more like a traditional felted scarf. Hi I used Margilan Silk which I got from Etsy - Natasha from sheeponmars . Very good silk in lots of colours You. An also buy it on line from lots of suppliers - Lena archebold , living felt and others
