Daemon Princes are found in the forces of both the Chaos Marines & Chaos Daemons A Daemon Prince has been ascended beyond their mortal existence and remade into a creature of the warp. Some Daemon Princes prefer to lead mortal or astartes Chaos forces, as they likely did prior to their ascension. In contrast, others prefer the company of their new daemonic kindred and fight within daemonic armies.

You mentioned you can't pick the chaos god of the AI towards the beginning of the video. That should answer both questions. In order to choose a god to dedicate to, you need to "research" something that costs 0 resources and 0 energy. But that happens within a game. And you would need to take direct control of the AI and MAKE them pick the god you want them to pick.
