The nurgling is so perfectly balanced for the sculpts structure, composition, and 40k games workshop brand of humor, that I’d have thought this was an official sculpt, minus the neck folds cause of their style of rounding.

I'd unscrew the spray applicator and use the tube to accurately apply glue drying accelerant by drop. That shit is a crazy toxic carcinogen as warned on the bottle and IMO should never be sprayed unless your gloved and masked. It's not only safer, but less wasteful and cleaner because it's controlled. Any who, as you were, jut thought I'd mention that to anyone not familiar with the stuff.

Looks amazing and fun keep up the great work. Seeing you doing this is giving me some courage to try my own hand at some kit bashing myself. I've been a huge fan of the new Pteraxii Sterylizors models and think they would be a fun challenge for at kit bash. Sticking with the nurgle theme I could see them using the flying balls from the Endrinriggers age of sigmar set (with some chaosy additions to them). Lore wise they could be filled with pestilent gasses which are released upon death.

This is great inspiration! I'm doing my own "roge" xenophite capitulous mixing bits of mechanicus with necron technology. Even tho this is very different I feel like Dark mechanicus would also have more freedom to explore xeno technologies so it would be cool see some skitarii with xeno weaponry like eldar, necron... but of course with the nurgle touch all over it

Nice work. I love the nurgling. What about a dune Crawler where the remaining flesh of the vanguard and ranger have fused with the machine so that the chasis has become part fleshy mass - like in the blight-hauler or bloat-drone. Or an obliterator/castellan cross.

I think something that already is a zoomorphic machine just has to be adapted into a daemon engine. So sculpting them some chaos-y flesh, maybe dropping the leader's steed a forgefiend head? Just making chaos bikes would lose the flavour of the horses!

Overall sick conversion! But I feel like the Drukari blade and aberrant head are too recognizable. IDK what I'd do with the blade, but I'd definitely try to file down the lithoderm on his forehead or turn it into some sort of plug or something. Super stoked to see what's next.

It looks perfekt. But I have to say. If there is no dark mechanicus option in the new codex (dont know why there would be one) it feels like a waste to just use the mechanicus rules. I feel this deserves a own codex and ruleset. Maybe you should create a custom codex. You could also pitch this one to james when it turns out nicely haha

I like this conversion a lot more than the Kastelan Robots, looks a lot more cohesive and not like 2 different kits smushed together. I'm going to be starting a Dark Mechanicum army soon and I've got a couple of talos kits just for conversion bits, they are great for this kind of thing. Also it's Tal-os, not Tay-los, there is no other vowel to turn the a sound into an ae/ay

I don't want to be "that guy" but there's no "Dark Mechanicus". Its just Dark Mechanicum. If you have to start it with "Adeptus" then its Imperium. The Dark Mechanicum are those Mechanicum who didn't accept the Treaty of Mars or who abandoned the Mechanicus later. "Dark Mechanicus" is wrong for kind of the same reason that calling the Thousand Sons a "traitor chapter" instead of a "traitor legion". I didn't catch this on my own. Someone pointed it out to me a long time ago.
