@dutchdrifter87404 жыл бұрын
@@letsgofast1187 true, but the power draw from fc, rx, vtx and cam combined is tiny. A vtx pulls 0.60 amps on 5v, thats 0.12 amps at 25v. The cam, rx and fc pull way less than the vtx. So the power draw in a 5 min flight is negligable.

I think its really cool that you did this build and it was nice to see your excitement and the performance. I would put forward the argument that running 6s 1800 kv would get you equivalent performance. That would vary depending on the carriage of an action camera. Partly for the fact that you are getting a diminishing return on the power to weight ratio of the vehicle. The inertia/momentum this thing must carry must be nuts. I'd be interested to see how the performance does with regard to the battery, amp draws and sag during performance, a speed gun would also be pretty sweet. It was a surprise to see that you were over propped the motors are 900kv with a 7" propeller when smaller motors appear to handle them. Experiments like this are great and fuel the hobby. Nice video and keep at it sir!

I would love to see just as an experiment what would be like a quad with conter rotating motors :D I wonder if it would be quieter or heavy lifter, 2 blades but double so 4 blades, could it freestyle, and how would it behave with 3 blade props? I don't know what is the smallest size motor, but could it make a toothpick 3" build able to carry more? Full gopro, bigger battery. or would it make it faster. Is it even possible to use it for quad build, and if it is, how hard it would be to build one. I wonder if it would give some benefit if you could control the two motors separately.
