When people say they’re in pain, they don’t treat them as drug addicts like in the U.S. I realize we have a huge problem with drug addiction, but it’s not right to treat everybody as if they’re an addict when in fact they’re suffering with severe chronic pain.

You can't get a true cholesterol reading unless you fast before having blood taken. C'mon doctors.
@sunnidays3 жыл бұрын
actually if you are not on a statin or other cholesterol medication it is not necessary - if already taking a statin, etc, some docs prefer you to be fasting I've done fasting and non-fasting with same results but I'm not on a statin
@tootz19503 жыл бұрын
@@sunnidays I've asked my doctor about that as I have to wait until after the test before I can drink coffee and both of them say fasting is necessary for a true reading. Now that might have changed in the last ten years or so, so I'm going to look into it for verification. I hope you're right because I don't really wake up until I've had coffee and it wouldn't be necessary to get up at 6 in the morning.

Yep since it's just a new thing what's to say he doesn't have a brain tumour or something? Best to check it out before trying to work out a long-term treatment programme I'd say.
@sunnidays3 жыл бұрын
he's had several over a month - yes they are new, but everyone's migraines are new at some point in time - if they scanned everyone that started having migraines without trying treatment first (which they gave him meds to try to stop the migraines) then they'd be scanning so many people that truly did not need scans - if meds don't work then they will investigate further
