At the beginning of a round, the team who didn't buzz in first should get the chance to respond to see if they have a more popular answer. The most popular answer of the two gets to choose to play or pass. That is unless the first answer was the number one answer. Night shift may have gotten a chance that way. Their buzzer may not have been so responsive.

But wait...when one team doesn't get the top answer right away, the other team is supposed to get a chance to get a better answer for the opportunity to play. I want to play this when I go next year, but gotta play it right lol I grew up on the gameshow network 🤣

Do you know how to read a fetal monitoring strip? Nursing fields are specialized. We can’t possibly know it all. We know what we use and if you don’t use it, you lose it.

@joygernautm6641Ай бұрын
Not the way that they teach you to do them in school. Obviously if somebody has a particular condition, you know the myriad of things you need to be assessing and doing. But you don’t sit there and write out a detailed plan for every single patient. You just know what to do. Often the care plans are already laid out as well.

Nurse/Instructor here: What hospitals are you all working in that you don't use care plans, calculations, nursing diagnoses, statistics?! There is a reason I want to work for the Joint Commission, and this just secures that reason. I'm about to have a panic attack watching this!

Shorter life span tho and constant fatigue
@ls-vg4pn2 ай бұрын
@EritreanChic yes and no. I know some folks who thrived on night shift and could fall asleep as soon as their head hit the pillow. Day shift where I work as all the stress. I finally left bedside because I weighed 220, BP was 190s/90s and the stess had me drinking every night after work. Going to clinic, I lost 60lbs (and counting), no alcohol or smoking, BP is 90-120/60s and I can sleep at night. It's glorious. I took a 20k pay cut but I was going to die if I didn't get out
@glorygeorge360728 күн бұрын
Not fun to work night shift. You give up a lot to do that-health, family time, and sleep.
@ls-vg4pn28 күн бұрын
@glorygeorge3607 less stress, less work, more money. If your kids are younger, your partner gets them off to school. You come home and sleep. Then you get up, you're there to help with homework, and eat dinner. They are going to bed shortly after you start your shift..most of your shift, they are sleeping. And everyone works weekends and misses stuff (days and nights). During the weekends all the kids stuff is during the day (except high school football games)
