That's a creative and memorable way to remember the parasympathetic nervous system! Associating it with the peace sign ✌️ can serve as a helpful mnemonic for understanding its function.

Hi Nurse Chung, love your content. Would you clarify something for me? It’s a science question on a TEAS practice test. The question is: Which part of the brain interprets sensory information? A. Cerebrum B. Hindbrain C. Cerebellum D. Medulla Oblongata. The answer key says it is A. Cerebrum. Is that right? My notes indicate cerebrum function is to coordinate and regulate muscular activity and parietal lobe processes sensory information. Thanks!
@NurseCheung
@NurseCheung 9 ай бұрын
Hi there! I'm glad you're finding the content helpful. In the context of the question you mentioned, the correct answer is indeed A. Cerebrum. While it's true that different parts of the brain have various functions, the cerebrum plays a significant role in processing sensory information as well. The cerebrum is responsible for higher-order thinking processes, including interpreting sensory input such as touch, sight, hearing, taste, and smell. It's the largest part of the brain and is divided into different lobes, each with specific functions. Keep up the great work with your TEAS preparation! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

i really cannot grasp the flow of blood through the heart..
@NurseCheung
@NurseCheung 5 ай бұрын
I totally understand how the flow of blood through the heart can be a tricky concept to grasp - it's a complex process with many steps. But I've got some good news for you! I'm actually working on a new video that will break down the entire process in a clear and easy-to-understand way. This upcoming video will visually guide you through each step of blood circulation within the heart, helping to clarify things like the role of different chambers, valves, and how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flow through the system. It should be a great resource for you to get a better handle on this topic. Keep an eye out for the video release - it might be just what you need to solidify your understanding. And remember, it's totally okay to find certain topics challenging. With a bit of patience and the right resources, you'll get the hang of it. Looking forward to helping you tackle this concept! 🌟📚❤️🔬

I feel like these questions are way easier than what is going to be on the TEAS based on what I've heard.. if it's like this, I'm good. I answered all these right. Are these accurate on difficulty? Anyone that has taken the test, maybe could answer...

Remember, the goal of practice tests is to familiarize yourself with the material, improve your understanding, and boost your confidence for the actual exam. Good luck! 🍀
