One of my friends father had this near death experience and he was petrified by this horrible dream he had while he almost when to coma which he is scared of even today!

I am also a registered nurse. I had a patient who was in her 90s and ready to pass. I really bonded with her and loved her. I asked her to send me a sign that she was okay after she passed. Well I was off work watching TV and I could see my stairs in the mirror from where I was sitting. I saw an elderly woman walking up the stairs!! I ran up the stairs and saw nothing. I knew it was my patient. I found out the next day that she had passed in the night. So amazing

My uncle passed away unexpectedly from overdose at the age of 39 yrs old. When he passed away, he came to me early morning while I was praying. He stood next to my bed and he showed me a house that I used to live with him. I asked him why he was in spirit form then I felt uncomfortable and asked him to leave. Later that day my mom called me and she said my uncle passed away during the night after he went to 2 party.

While that's nice. As an RN, you should be a little careful about your own beliefs. People have lost their pins in the past. My dad for example would have been silently screaming if anyone was playing the afterlife card.

My Nana had dementia, she was in a rest home under care before she passed. She woke up in the morning excited, telling the carers that she was going on a trip and she needed to pack her bag. Then she got back into her bed and passed peacefully. We had a look in her bag when we got there and she had a photo of all her grandchildren in there ❤

My aunt passed last July. My mom had been gone 16 years. When my aunt was on hospice, i went to visit and thanked her for all she taught me and being such a great aunt. I whispered in her ear "tell my momma i said hi when you get up there" she had be in and out of consciousness for a couple days. The day we buried her, i pulled into the graveyard (same place my mom is buried) and i looked up and the word "hi" was written in the sky. It was backwards as if she wrote it from Heaven. I was already crying but that took me out. I was able to snap a picture, wish i could post it. Thats just one story...

My great grandmother lived in a small town, her best friend of 60 years lived across the street and two doors down, her name was Ella. My great grandmother had dementia, was bedridden and had not spoken in over a year. One night her daughters were watching television and heard her talking. They heard her saying things like "Do you remember the time" and talking about situations and laughing. This went on for about 15 minutes and then they heard her say "Well I'm so glad you came by to talk with me, goodbye". They stepped into the room and asked her who she was talking to and she said that Ella had come to say goodbye. The next morning my aunts found out that Ella died at the time my great grandmother was talking to her. My grandmother never spoke again after that night.

My grandmother passed in 2019. The death wasn’t expected nor was she sick. According to her caregiver, she just smiled and said her husband was here for her, climbed into bed and died a few minutes later. What a beautiful way to leave. Thank you so much for this video. My parents died separately. My mom was cremated, my brother handmade her urn from one of her antique tables. Folks were buried in the same plot as promised, on top of Mom’s casket embedded in Scrabble letters it announces: “HONEY, I’m Home!” ❤️

When my sweet husband passed he was only 43. He was so weak the last 2 days he couldn't lift his head or open his eyes. But when it was time he took a huge gasp his mouth and eyes opened as it he was seeing something amazing lifted his arms as if he was reaching out to someone and then collapsed back and was gone. The room filled with peace and comfort for a moment. Ofc then it hit me it was over and I fell apart. Still falling apart 10 years later.

I can't imagine the pain you must feel. My worst nightmare is loosing my wife. We've been married for 17 years and she's my world. She has some health issues and a few years back she had a stroke that almost took her life. Since then I am constantly on edge. I have a very hard time sleeping. When I do fall asleep I wake up multiple times a night because of nightmares. If she calls my name from another room I instantly panic because I think something is wrong. I just can't fathom that one day she won't be here by my side. I pray I go before her. I think she's much stronger when it comes to dealing with loss than I am. I'm so sorry you lost your husband. It breaks my heart to even think about.

I was a firefighter/EMT for about 23 years, I saw a LOT of people die. I always felt like there was a presence in the room, often in the upper corner of the room, as people died. I sometimes encountered patients who had seen their already dead loved ones recently in dreams or whilst awake. It is a common phenomenon, from what I have observed.

I got that feeling before each of my kids was born. And the creepiest thing at all, was that I was talking with my 2 older kids downstairs in the basement (where I had mostly felt the spirits and never had said anything to anyone about this), my kids older 2 kids mentioned that my 3rd kid was here before she was in my tummy. I said "Oh and what where was she?" And they pointed to the ceiling by the corner.😳

I worked in a hospital at one time. Whenever i felt something was waiting for a dying person, it was always from above, a few feet away from the foot board area of the bed and on the right side of the dying. It was comforting.

I remember a patient years ago. She was 7 yrs old with down syndrome and mostly non verbal except for a few words only her mom can understand. She’s been in and out of the hospital and her mom and I got close. The time she passed, the hospital chaplain, doctor, me and her mom and dad and siblings were in the room and she suddenly sat up and smiled to all of us and clearly said for all of us to hear and understand “Jesus is here” her mom who was beside her was hugging her and she just closed her eyes as she laid her head on her shoulders still smiling and there was so much peace in that room. we were all silent and just basking in the peace and quietly soaking in the experience. The chaplain prayed and at that time no one was crying because we just felt peace all over!

I am epileptic and after a big seizure was in a a coma. I wasn’t expected to make it at first. I could hear things and could hear my family fighting over who got my toddler not because they loved him but because he would come with a decent inheritance. Basically everyone of them but my brother wanted to pull the plug on me. My mother is a shopping addict and a narcissist so I wasn’t surprised with that but she had my dad pretty much convinced that I was selfish for staying alive and the money would be better off going to them as they “deserved it and needed it”, I was Close to my dad. I don’t want anyone’s pity. Please make a will and do not trust people to not get greedy. Be clear about your directives. Get a lawyer. I created a trust for my son that no one could touch. I don’t want to creAte fear mongering. please just be careful. I do remember at first having a dream of my son as an adult angry at me for my bad choices in life. I felt so cold and lonely. I don’t think these were ghosts from the dead but rather my subconscious being really sad and trying to process emotions. Once I did finally stabilize, I had a sense of warmth from my dead grandfather. He told me in my dream to focus on things that make me happy. My son’s blue eyes, bunnies, butterflies, my volunteer work. I remember also getting an intense need to pray again and to atone for my sins even tho I am not exactly a person who lead a self driven life but I am also human and not free of faults. I volunteer, donate to charities, dedicated my career in medicine to care for others etc. I changed my life completely after that. I quit my high stress job, I dumped my ex, moved to another state with my son, distanced my family and set boundaries. I still get such a horrible sadness about how my worth was so little to those that I thought loved me. I would like to say it’s a happy ending but it has been a very rough 4 yrs. I have a lot of pieces to pick up and returning to work was difficult as well. I trust no one and I went from being a mostly positive trusting person to still a generally positive person but very guarded. I can’t figure out the meaning of life because it sure seems like the only imprint I was going to leave behind on people wasn’t my good deeds but rather my ability to save money.

Good for you, though I understand that the experience was harrowing and shocking. Narcissists exert a great deal of control over others. I have a narc brother who did something similar around our parents’ deaths. Unfortunately your father has an old emotional wound that allows him to be manipulated by your mother. Maybe you will eventually be able to revive your close relationship with him, though your mother will always interfere. It’s great that you made necessary changes. You will be able to trust again - though you will discriminate more than in the past who you allow to get close to you. The narcs will never appreciate your good deeds but all the good people will. Wishing you all the best.

I very much recommend getting into therapy. It can really help you learn to cope and build healthy relationships. And if you've never done therapy before, I recommend you see a bunch of different therapists until you find one you click with. Don't just go with the first one you see. Also, definitely make sure they're trauma-informed (which isn't the default). I know it can be really difficult to build healthy and trusting relationships after separating yourself from toxic dynamics. It can happen though!

My dad had alzheimer, and ine day he got out of bed and was trying desperately to get out of the house , I asked him why he said my brother Wesley is asking for help. I told him that my uncle was ok got him back to bed, about 20 minutes later I received a call telling me that my uncle had passed away earlier that morning, and what my cousin said next really shocked me. He said that his dad was asking for help before he passed.

When my time comes I hope my grandfather comes to pick me up. He was my everything. We lived next door and when I was 4 I started sneaking out in the morning before everyone woke up to go have coffee with him. When he passed I stayed with him and cared for him the last month he was alive. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through but I'm thankful I did it.

My great aunt Glen died of congestive heart failure. When she went into the nursing home, we thought she'd come home but unfortunately she just kept declining. We found out she had dementia too, once she was out of her regular surroundings. At first, she was calling out and seeing people who are still alive. When she was closer to her actual death, she was seeing dead people. I do believe in some kind of afterlife, but I don't subscribe to any specific religion. What I really like about this video so far is that you're just explaining why you believe in an afterlife, you're not promoting your own religion/faith. When you mentioned people of other faiths or none at all, I could tell that was just an example and not a comparison. This is a very logical video on something that's not tangible, and I think that's impressive and admirable. The world needs more people like you, Hadley. 💚

The same thing happened to an in law who saw about 40 people, as she was coming in and out of a coma, over a week-long period. When she described her experience "at work" she could speak perfectly. When she said she was tired and needed to go back "to work," back into her coma, her dementia language would return. No drugs whatever involved. Some of the 40 people she saw had died in the past few months and no one had told her. How did she know they were in another reality?

I had a therapist many years ago who helped me in a time of need. I’d seen her in the supermarket one day. I was so happy to see her, and when I turned to speak with her, she wasn’t there. Around 2 days later, I’d heard she passed away in an accident the day before I saw her in the supermarket! I’m not positive of why she came to let me see her, but I’m comforted just the same.

One day, I opened my closet grabbed a magazine, and saw a picture of a friend on his graduation day, he looked happy. I didn't think of anything at the moment. The next day early in the morning my niece called me and told me that Paul had taken his life. At that second I saw myself looking at his picture. I think he was saying goodbye. RIP dear Paul.

I know someone who died from a heart attack and was brought back to life. He says what he experienced was so beautiful and so peaceful that he didn't want to leave. He says he was disappointed when he opened his eyes to realize that he was back "here". He has zero fear of death and has since signed a DNR for the next time he dies.

When my mom was dying, she saw her two sisters on the other side of the room who had passed before her. They were telling her to "Come, on; let's go!". She put out her hand as if to say "stop", and called them by name and told them they'd have to wait. The only thing that kind of freaked me out was that the one sister died 15 years prior which she was aware of; the other sister died one week to the day before my mom died, and she was never told that she had passed. Would you be able to explain why my mom would have talked to her dead sister whom she didn't even know had died?

My dad knew his sister died and kept asking about it but no one told him. In fact we hid it from him because we thought he was too weak to handle the news. He couldn't have used the internet or phone by himself because of the brain injury his hands don't work and he has dementia but still he knew.

Her sister came to comfort her as she was on other side waiting for her. People do come visit us even without being at that stage of dying. They come in dreams to visit loved ones.

Even as a youngster I would see my deceased loved ones in dreams restored to around the age of 35-40 and in good health. I have had at least 3 vivid dreams of my own passing during my lifetime. This has continued throughout my life and now I am a senior citizen and just can't wait to go Home!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Belief that your family will come to get you at the end of life is very common in my African family. My brother had conversations with our auntie Margaret when she came to get him. He told her that she needed to wait as he was waiting for his children to come home from school. He passed shortly after he said goodbye to his children and wife. I recently dreamed that my beloved brother told me he'd come to get me when it's my time.

I once had a teacher in college, a formal cop and a business owner, who had a near death experience, NDE. After NDE, he has repented in church, sold his business, and went 2 school 2 become a catholic priest... He said there was the other side, but not a tunnel, something else, he did not elaborate, but the drastic change in his life and attitude has been a reason for me to believe in his story!

My aunt had cancer and when she was on hospice, she saw her dead brother and father at different times. She talked to them. I told my husband that she does not have long with us. My mother in law did not see anyone but after her 2 grand children (that she loved more than life itself, came to see her she passed a few hours later. I believe that was all she was waiting on. God is good to us.

I was in a horrible car accident 6 years ago now. 2 men died, and i was clinically dead for 7 minutes. I can 100% confirm there is life after this. There are no words to describe just how amazing it is. You feel so at peace and completely surrounded by love. I saw my loved ones and even got to hug my grandpa. As we were letting go of our hug, he told me that it just wasn't my time and i had to go back. It was the most spectacular place I've ever seen. I am no longer afraid of death. I can't wait to go back. When my dad passed away, he kept staring up at the right corner of his room and asking my aunt, "Do you hear it? It's so beautiful. How can you not hear it?" The very last thing he said was he needed to call his dad, my grandfather, and let him know he's on his way. He died very early the next morning.

I completely believe this... Now. I wasn't so sure before but my Grandmother who I was very close with and loved so very much passed away last year at the age of 92.... I was at home and really upset. Something told me to go outside and right before I opened the door to go outside somewhere out of nowhere I understood or was told that I would see a Cardinal. I am in Central Florida and don't see many birds in our area and not too many Cardinals. As soon as I went outside I saw a beautiful bright red Cardinal sitting maybe 8 feet away from me on the fence. When I walked outside she didn't fly away like they normally do. She actually flew towards me and hovered right in front of me and flew around in front of me at arms length. I have never seen anything like that before or since but afterwards I knew that was confirmation for me that my Grandmother was at peace and there is more to this life/world.

My Dad was in hospice in 2017. The day before he passed, he was weak and lying in bed. All of a sudden out of nowhere, he sat up and tried to get out of bed! He kept saying "I need my suitcase, I am late, I am going to be late for my trip". I knew what was happening but after seeing your videos I am so much more at peace

Two weeks ago I had a vivid dream of arguing with my mother. She stopped abruptly and said, "You need to take your dad to the airport". I turned to see my dad at his desk and he was packing a red duffel bag. I said, "Dad, let me get my shoes on" but he would not wait. He was adamant that he had to leave now. Then I made another excuse and said, "Let me wash my face" but he was already out the door and in the car. The last words I said to him were, "Dad I'm not ready." I woke up with the saddest feeling....knowing my dad will not be here much longer. He and my mother are both 85.

Nurse Hadley, you are probably the number 1 hospice nurse I follow. I am aiming to finish Nursing and then do a post grad in Palliative Care. I wish to work in the hospice that cared for my parents. I'm sometimes able to see said passed loved ones too but it's not all the time. My Dad saw his Aunt first, then his parents. I watched my brothers (who had passed before Dad) walk around the hospice and his room, waiting for him. Mam saw my brother first. She didn't tell me but I saw him and she was very very quiet. She went into a coma for a week and my Dad was in and out a lot. I came down the following morning to find her completely awake, with coffee, asking for a cigarette. She told me then that Dad had come for her...and she asked him for more time... to say goodbye. To tell us she loved us. She was moved to the hospice from the hospital...we got just over a week extra with her. When she died, I was in the chair dozing next to her, with all of our family...and out of the corner of my eye, Dad walked up to her, kissed her forehead and smiled...like "Come on pet... it's time". It was beautiful...it was heartbreaking..but it was stunning. I am so glad and blessed that I've had those experiences and hope I can bring that comfort to patients and families.

When my dad was close to death, he was talking clearly to me and my sister. He stopped and said hello to my deceased mother. I asked if mom was here and he said, Yes.". I asked if Grandma was here and he said, "Yes, you don't understand that they are all here. I'm living between two worlds."

My mom had a near death experience as a teen mom. My dad cheated on her and she decided to take the rest of her c-section pain meds. He and my grandma got her to the hospital. She was in and out of it for a bit during the drive to the hospital, but then she just went out. The next thing she remembered was being above everyone in the operating room. She saw them putting black chalk in her mouth. She moved into the hallway and saw my grandma yelling at my dad and asking for quarters to make calls. My mom said she just felt at peace though. There was a light behind her and she knew there was more. She saw the doctors use the paddles on her and then she was out again. Woke up the next day in the hospital room and a nurse informed her that her heart had stopped for 2 minutes. My mom confirmed what my grandma was doing. My husband and I were driving separately, going on a camping trip. I was driving up the mountain road with our kids while he was coming later. All of a sudden, I felt the presence of my aunt who lived far away, and I felt she had died. It was very powerful feeling, but I wasn’t expecting her to pass then. My mom was on no medication. She wasnt in pain. She was 61. She did not want any pain meds. I thought it was odd. She had cancer. She wasn't in full time hospice yet. One night I was in the bedroom next to her who was in the living room. I overheard her having a conversation with my dead aunt. It was crazy. She also saw her dad. People who have died and came by say that it's so beautiful and freeing. They do not like coming back!! They also completely lose their fear of dying. It's amazing. If you watch NDEs (near death experiences) on youtube...you will start to feel way less scared of death. There are tons of experiences on here. For me, I lost the fear of death when I gave my life to Jesus. I have been revived even in life. Jesus completes me. This life is just a small vapor compared to ETERNITY. I pray you will find peace ❤

About a month before my mom passed in 2020 from covid she said she saw a little girl in the corner of her hospital room. That little girl was her sister whom died before she was even born. That made me hysterical. I believe in the afterlife and you tend to see loved ones before you pass on.

My dad passed on 27th December 2022. One day before he passed he was looking up talking to my aunt (his sister) who wasn’t in the hospital room and to our knowledge was alive. Whilst talking to her he got very upset and starting crying. The day after my dad passed we called extended family members to let them know and found out that the sister my dad was talking to had passed 2 days before him. I am not religious and sceptical about the afterlife however this has made me wonder.

When my husband at the time was killed in a pedestrian vehicle accident, I didn't find out until the next day. The night that it happened, our dog was barking at the bottom of the steps, around 10 pm...at 11:01 I was asleep and woke up to him standing in the bedroom surrounded by the most purest white light I had ever seen. I looked down at my phone and when I looked up he was gone.i found out later that his actual time of death was 11:01. The accident happened around 10pm. If I didn't believe before that I sure did afterwards.

Two weeks before my father died, he told my mother that he was talking to his parents in the living room. My mother said that is not possible because they are dead. My Dad dropped over dead and was not on any medications that would have caused this. He was 91 years old. He also said that he saw me out in the kitchen and I was little again. Not sure exactly what that meant, but my Mom did have several miscarriages and I am an only child.

When my grandma was in her last days of life, she looked to the corner of the room and started smiling. My mom asked what she was smiling about. All my grandma said was what should I wear. We both believe all her friends, family, and her husband were there waiting to throw her a party. She was always about her looks, so it was both a little funny and comforting. My mom claims she smelled her dad's cologne from that point until my grandma passed. My great aunt passed a year ago. She was a close friend of my grandma. My grandpa and his brother's and their wives were always very close in life. I am sure they all threw another party for her as well.

I have been a hospice chaplain for 18 years. I have seen these same phenomena in different patients from various backgrounds at different stages of dying during those 18 years. The age and background of the patients does not seem to make a difference. I have tried to find an explanation that makes sense from a hard science point of view. The variety of experiences makes this difficult. I have stopped being skeptical about it and I just accept these visions from patients as they occur.

@edumation so. The best way to describe it, is when you're watching a movie in slow motion. You know scenes when they slow things down . That's what it looked like I wasn't paying attention to birds, but I did have hallucinations . I remember laying in the ditch looking up to what I thought was my teenage boyfriend ( he passed away 14 years ago in a car accident and we share a son together ) and he was there. Or so I thought. I was so convinced it was him. Turns out that it was a police officer. It's a hard thing to describe in words. But it's similar to the feeling of Magix mushrooms in a sense. I tried that in my younger years. But it was strange how all sounds completely blocked off. I mean it was a pretty bad accident and there was my daughter screaming,tons of sirens and emergency personal. I couldn't hear any of it. I was so focused on the grass and the sky and the beauty around me. I wasn't scared- maybe I didn't understand what happened. But I just remember thinking it would be so nice just to fall asleep. They lost me in the ambulance. I only remember waking up lucid about 6 hours later not understanding why I went from the grass to this bed with tubes everywhere.

I was sitting with my mom in hospice about a day and a half before she passed. She suddenly started looking towards a blank wall with a very surprised expression on her face. I lean towards believing that she saw either my deceased dad or one of her parents. At that time she was non-verbal so I couldn't ask her what she was seeing. In any event, she was definitely reacting to something I couldn't see. On a related note, my mom had worked as a RN at St. Luke's Medical Center in Phoenix. Sometime around 1985 she had a patient who had coded and was successfully resuscitated. A day or two later the patient told my mom that she had watched the resuscitation from outside of her body. My mom knew of my interest in NDEs and shared the story with me shortly after it happened.

I was brought back with atropine and chest compressions after a mistake with medication after my surgery. I saw what everyone was doing. I don't have a memory of floating or being above anyone ..but I could literally tell who was there and what they said, did and looked like. Nurses and doctors I never saw when I was awake.

I am so sorry you lost your mom. I truly hope she did see a comforting face I too had an NDE and I told the nurses everything that happened (after a certain point after resuscitation) with me and my new preemie daughter. She sadly passed 19 days later from being without oxygen for so long. I was being worked on in a trauma room, when the ceiling seemed to shatter, and I was floating. I went somewhere beautiful and peaceful and felt like I had the choice to go further or go back to my life. I had a 5 year old at the time, and chose to go back. No words were actually spoken so it's impossible to explain how that 'conversation' happened. It felt like the second I chose to stay, I was suddenly looking down on my daughter and myself, from above, for some time. Then there was blackness and I opened my eyes... Anyway, sorry if it's TMI. We had my mother in home hospice who was dying of lung cancer. Once we had a social worker from the hospice center talking to us all at a family gathering when my mother turned to me and said Uncle Ronnie, her brother, is sitting in the empty chair opposite the bed smiling at her. She was not drugged out on morphine because it made her nauseous and she was fully aware. After she passed my 4 y/o niece had a vision of her standing smiling at her. She wasn’t on drugs either. I don’t fear dying so much as the pain involved, like my mother I can’t tolerate opiates either.

Several years ago, I lived across from an elderly couple. First the wife passed. Then about six months later I saw the husband outside in his yard. He wasn’t on hospice but he had a helper stop by a couple hours a day. He told me that recently his wife would visit with him at night. She would sit at the foot of the bed. I just figured he missed her. He died a couple weeks after we talked.

I have been with many people as they passed…Those who could express what they were seeing or feeling it was a WONDERFUL PEACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!!! My grandmother had severe copd and thus had several bouts of hypoxia. She did hallucinate. However, unlike the dying, her hallucinations were extremely odd and almost funny like seeing pink animals on the ceiling of her hospital room. I am starting nursing school next year and am seriously considering hospice after I get a few years under my belt. As a cancer survivor who's condition could have easily found me on hospice, I am seriously grateful for all you do and for helping educate and dispell the negative notions about hospice. 😊

I was 23 weeks pregnant when I went into septic shock. I don't feel I ever loss consciousness, my baby was only occasionally checked on since she was not a legal life until the following week. I had my last rights and my aunt and uncle came and prayed over me. I just felt my grandparents presence while they prayed for me. I ended up surviving and delivering at 41 and a half weeks. My baby was born perfectly healthy even after a 68 hour labor that resulted in emergency csection because baby was in distress. I only ever felt her move a few times, they said because of placenta placement. But it felt like she was held and protected by the most amazing forces that felt like my passed loved ones. After that I would always wake up at 3:00/3:03/3:33am. It always felt like at least my grandmother was coming to us. Sometimes it would feel like more loved ones too. Since this experience I feel such a sense of loved ones who pass. It comes out especially through electricity. Like a light going on while thinking of a particular person, once the tv stayed on while unplugged. A light that never had its bulbs replaced on the garage suddenly going on. The energy is so strong. As a CRNP myself, I was in the ICU last year and was very close to death after my my esophagus ruptured post surgery for a hernia. I saw in the Icu, what can only be explained as ghosts. I knew they were people who passed. They were just doing normal stuff. Walking around- talking- looking at me. I felt calm. Thank God it wasn't my time- I have two baby girls I had to fight for. It changed my views on spirituality forever. I'm was a super huge skeptic before.

A week before my grandfather (from my dads side) died he was really active.They had daignosed him with cancer a month before and he was on bed rest for a like 2 weeks then he suddenly becames active again. He was scheduled to have a surgery the weekend he died. That week he was up and down driving and he even drove my mom to her fathers house, my moms sister was there and my grandfather would always flirt with her. So when he saw her he started flirting with my aunt and he got serious and he looked at her and told her this was the last time he would see her, she told him not to say that and he said he was serious. My aunt told him to go home and take care, that she would see him after the surgery. She then told my mom he won't make it. The day of the surgery he died and came to visit us and my uncle around 2am, we heard glass bottle breaking and when my mom went out to check no one was there and no bottles were broken. My dad then called us 30 mins later and told us my grandfather didn't make it and he would be flying back with the body. My grandfather went to do his surgery in Guatemala and my dad and cousin was with him.They needed to fly back to Belize with the casket, but the airlines told my cousin that they only had 1 seat available so he would have to get a next flight. When my dad got on the flight they had an empty seat next to him and he was confuse but he said that the seat was saved for his dad and him. My grandfather always joked about when he died he would come and tantalizes us and pull our toes cause all his grandkids were rude. I think that's the reason why he came and made noise at our house and my uncles house to mess with our heads.lol. I didn't sleep like for 3 nights cause I was scared he would pull my toes 🤣. That old man played too much.

While not vision nor the effect of any medication since she was on none it was profound. I can speak to end of life, seeing deceased loved ones, and the idea of lack of oxygen to the brain. My mother was going through her third battle with cancer. This time is was worse. It was aggressive and her kidneys were so damaged from previous chemo that there weren't really options for treatment. One night she received her second dialysis and they had to stop the procedure because her blood pressure dropped so low. My father (I was staying with him) and I received a call from her. She told us that she was very sick and had a pulmonary embolism. She did but she never remembered the doctors saying this to her, as it always came to her like new news. She told us that "everyone" was there and would take her home. I realized immediately that our time was short and rushed my father to her to see her. She was quite confused and almost combative. She didn't like the tubes, IVs or machines. She kept telling me to leave that she wanted to be alone. I hadn't driven so I told her as much. I said I would just sit quietly in the room and for her to sleep. I didn't mind. I'm not a religious person but I did pray. She was in a lot of pain and so agitated. I heard her talking to my grandmother who passed away 35 years ago. She kept saying, "I know mom, but I'm scared." My mom and I talked on the phone a couple of times a day and were as close as close could be to each other though I live far away. Each night she would end our phone call with, "say goodnight mommy and I'll talk to you tomorrow." Every time that night that her eyes landed on me, she would say that without the tomorrow part. I wasn't sure if I believed in an after life or not. I am culturally Jewish but my parents are Baptist. I talked to the doctors in the morning and asked if maybe she had a stroke or wasn't getting enough oxygen to her brain. She was on oxygen but her pulseox and blood gas levels were normal. Her CT scan was clear. Mom never spoke to me again. She was still so agitated and angry. They had to restrain her and she fought against that. My father and I held her hand and I spoke to her, telling her that it was okay and I love her. I told her her that she had fought so hard and that if it was time to go, I would understand. I told her that I would take care of Dad and that I would do my best to do everything she wanted me to do. We signed the paperwork for hospice and she was transferred that afternoon. I sat with her at hospice for a few hours. My dad was so tired and uncomfortable that I asked my mom's sister to stay the night and that I would take him home for a bit. I knew in my heart that I was saying goodbye to my best friend and mother. She had been sleeping all day and seemed calm. I went to her bedside, kissed her and told her I love her. I said I was taking Dad home and for her to rest. I told her she was a wonderful mom and I hope she thought of me as a good daughter. Then I said the words, "Good night, Mommy." As I said it she squeezed my hand and made some very gutteral sounds. I think she was trying to speak but couldn't. My dad rushed to the bed and told her her loved her. She continued trying to speak and making the noises. I repeated everything again and told her that we love her very much and would see her tomorrow. She made another sound and then was silent. I walked my father to the car and told him that if she was still here tomorrow I was planning to stay the night. He agreed and we left. That night her sister went to the restroom and my mother passed during that 90 seconds. She was gone. She always hated having people around when she was sick. She had not even told her siblings of her illness. I am the one who told them a week before she passed. I won't go into that drama. I think she waited for a moment when she was alone to draw her last breath so she could die the way she wanted. This is a long message, but I want to say that I knew my mother was seeing people I couldn't see. I even said hello to them aloud and told them if they were there to take care of my mom. I did everything I could think to confirm a scientific reason for her seeing them and the other odd things. There was no verifiable reason other than it was all real.

Thank you so very much for sharing your experience with us. My mom was also soo scared to die. She had breast cancer, and then the 2nd time around, it was pancreatic cancer. We all took shifts in the hospital for two months, never leaving her alone. Then one Sunday, we had the majority of us kids there with the grandkids on the laptop streaming them from the waiting room a few doors down because we couldn't have us all in her room at once. I think she could hear them playing, and we were all there together, which was odd because we had been splitting up in shifts all this time. We had such a nice visit with her that day I hated it to end.Her husband stayed the night. The next day, he had to get to the bank and run a few errands that had been put off as long as he could so he left to do them and this time there was no one to releave him within a half hour after he had left she passed away its like she knew she was alone and now she could go.❤

Two years ago almost to the day I got severely sick and had to have my gall bladder removed. This one thing going bad caused a whole string of bad things happening. After my surgery I was diagnosed with pancreatis accompanied with a very large cyst. During this time frame I was also diagnosed with diabetes and anemia. I spent many days in the hospital but my last stay was different. This stay they told me I needed a blood transfusion. I slept and slept and slept. During this time I kept dreaming I was in a waiting room and someone was calling for me to go through this door. I had lost my soul mate 4 years before and my first love had died 6 years before that. They were both there. Calling to me to come through the door. Just as I made the decision to go through. They said it wasn't my time yet to go back. When I woke they told me the treatment was working and almost finished. I still have to have iron treatments occasionally but no more hospital stays.

I was with mama the night before she passed away...my siblings will be coming next day some time afternoon. My mother sat up..clear and present sometime after midnight around 02:30 ..asked me to take her out..so I took her on a wheelchair ..she was smiling looking around ...then we got into the room...I told her let's sleep..she said ok..but she sat up instead...asked for some food...then she started talking to some people infront of her that I don't see..I didn't understand a word..but between her words she would look at my by her side telling me to call my siblings to come now..and then she was like arguing with those ppl. She was not hallucinating, everytime she talked to me in-between her arguments she was very very clear and present . Orior to this argument she pointed at the room corner saying" I have to go they are waiting me"...then she started arguing with someone/ people as I understood they were a group that she was arguing with. Next day my siblings came ...they spent around 6 hours with her ..she was between conscious and unconscious state ..but she knew that my siblings were with here ..she died same day ...I do believe she was arguing coz she didn't want to leave when my siblings were not around her .. although It was her time ; " They are waiting me, I have to go" she said that to me very calmly in informative way then after that she started arguing discussing with someone ..and this argument lasted about halv an hour ...I don't remember what happened after coz I believe I slept and it was first time for me sleeping since maybe 2 months ...

I would just ask a skeptic why it's so important to them to discredit something so personal to a dying person. People are dying. Why should we care whether or not they are hallucinating? Why is it so important to PROVE they are hallucinating. We're ALL going to get the answer to the big secret when our day comes. Just leave people alone and worry about yourself.

I think some of it may be some deep down fear. Because what if they were wrong and we are held accountable by God for what we did here on Earth. I would think that must be a scary thought for an unbeliever. So for them proving that none of this is real probably makes them feel better. If these people are just hallucinating, then they are right and they will never be held accountable by God. They have to be right or the alternative would be terrifying.

I do agree with you that we have a lot of fear, but it is fear of the *unknown.* I want to believe that it's just a peaceful hallucination bringing me to eternal blackness, because I understand hallucinations. I don't understand spirits or the afterlife, and not understanding scares me. I think you may not have this fear, because you believe in an afterlife, and this is all explained by an afterlife.

@@winterkeptuswarm You see, as a Christian I hold the belief that none of us are good people. I mean good by what standard? All of us sin in our lives. We may lie or hate people in our hearts or say mean things in anger. We may have stolen before or coveted something someone else has. We may have dishonored our parents or lusted after someone. Not a single one of us has lived up to God's standards. His standard is perfection. He considers hate to be the same as murder and lust is the same as adultery. That is what it takes to get to heaven on our own. Perfection. Since all of us have broken God's laws, we all deserve hell, and not one of us could ever earn heaven by "being good." Think about it like this. If someone committed a crime and stood before a judge and said sure I broke the law, but I also did all these good things, would the good things they did mean they wouldn't be punished for their crime? Would a good judge set a murderer free just because he also volunteered at a soup kitchen? Would that be a good judge? Well God is a perfect judge. Our good actions don't cancel out the bad things we do. We all deserve punishment for the ways in which we break God's laws. This is why Jesus came to Earth. He lived a perfect life and was crucified on the cross and died. He took the punishment all of us rightly deserved. He paid the price for our sins that we owed. He suffered and died for each and every one of us. Because He loves us and wanted to make a way for us to be saved. And then he rose from the dead on the third day. Defeating death! And all we have to do is believe and follow Him. Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one gets to the Father except through me. Salvation is a free gift offered to all of us by God. All you have to do is believe and what Jesus did on the cross is credited to you. His sacrifice wipes all of your sins away. And God sees Jesus' perfection in its place. Jesus makes us fit for heaven because of what He did for us. Because He loves us. And that's what makes Christianity different from every other religion. It is not by our works that we are saved. It is by grace! God saves us. Not us! You don't try to earn your way to heaven. You believe and through your faith in Jesus you are saved! But each one of us has a choice. I just wanted to make sure you have heard and understand The Gospel. Because Jesus asked His followers (Christians) to go forth and share the Good News with the whole world. So that's what I try to do whenever I can. But ultimately every person has to make their own choice. We all have free will. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have them. My husband, a photographer, died from cancer 2022, at hospice. Afterwards, after everyone left and I was alone in the parking lot, I asked him for a sign he was ok. Nothing. I started driving home. Turned on the radio and the song "Freeze Frame" by J. Giels band was playing. I said aloud, thats a coincidence. If you're really ok, I need something else. I changed the station and "Photograph" by Def Leppard was playing. I had a good cry-laugh. I believe it was him letting me know he was ok.

My mother had a couple of times where she saw deceased loved ones about a week before she passed. At this point she was not on any medications. She died from old age. The first time she was talking to the ceiling corner of her room. She kept saying, “Who are you, you come out and show your faces”. She thought it was her sister in law but wasn’t completely sure. It was as if the veil between this life and the next was parting but it hadn’t completely yet. A few days later she saw more loved ones up in the same corner. This time she could see clearly who it was. When we asked her who she was seeing she said it was her sisters. Then my sister did the most amazing thing, she suggested that mother invite her sisters to come and sit with her. We moved a couple of chairs close to her bed so her sisters could join her. It might sound like silly thing to do but my mother was distressed and we wanted her to be at peace with her sister’s presence. She also, talked several times about people telling her she should walk through the door into another room. She didn’t want to. I told her it was ok to walk through the door because her grandson who had passed away had walked through the door a year earlier. What’s interesting to me is that my mother believed in an afterlife yet she seemed to be upset by seeing her loved ones.

I am a hospice nurse and had a lady talking about walking through the door to some children only she saw.( she had dementia, yet this was not typical for her. The next day, she passed somewhat unexpectedly. She went through the door.

My BFF's mom saw her deceased husband the before she passed. She reached out to him wnd was talking to him. My mom didn't mention that she saw anyone, but at yhe very end right before she stopped breathing my brother saw angels above her. He is not religious, in fact he's an atheist. He loudly asked my sister and I if we saw them while pointing above my moms head. We didn't see them, but my sister and I do have faith in our hearts, so we believe it was a gift for my brother alone to help him let go. I was his Caregiver and had to watch him pass away for 10 days, before Hospice came to get him, I was in his Bedroom feeding him and All of the Sudden He Started Smiling really big and said " Cristy, go tell Roger ( his Brother that passed away 1 year before him ) to come back, I said, " Where is he Daddy,? " He said" Right there " and pointed at his closet door.. So I walked over there and just acted like I was looking for him, I told Daddy he said he loved him.. then he turned over and started to pout.. I cried like a baby.. Hadley, my mother had expressed doubts about an afterlife in her later years. She was never overtly religious, and a wonderful person. She had a heart condition and spent more and more time in the hospital. During her the last night she was in great spirits. She ate pizza, which was strange since she hadn't had an appetite for quite a while. The hospital spoke of discharging her depending on what the next day looked like. The next morning I got a call from the hospital telling me to come immediately, because she didn't have much time left. I rushed over and she was sleeping. The family was gathered around the bed and suddenly she sat straight up, looked at the ceiling raised her hands in frustration and said "Why am I still here?!" It was like she was on her way to a beautiful destination and the plane was delayed. I have to admit we couldn't help but be amused ☺I told her what a wonderful mother she was to me and that I was thankful and loved her so much. She turned and said "I love you too" and hugged me so hard I could barely breathe (she had been so weak for a couple years, this blew me away). Then she said "I saw your father, you know." I asked what he looked like. "Oh, he looked good!" Well mom, what did he say? "Nothing, he just smiled". Those were the last words she spoke before going back to sleep. I stayed with her for hours, and the nurses said that she wouldn't die while I was there, so I tucked her in and left. Meantime my daughter's plane landed, and I returned to the hospital within 10 minutes to meet her in my Mom's room. I rounded the corner and the doctors were just coming out. She had passed within 5 minutes of me leaving the hospital. I now see death as a transition to a reunion with our loved ones in paradise. I firmly believe it is just the beginning.....and it is REAL. 💗

As a former hospice social worker, I observed people with both religious and nonreligious beliefs still see deceased people in the room, and none of them ever expressed fear when it occurred. Oftentimes, they saw people near the ceiling, especially in the corners of the room, and sometimes outside the window. Another interesting thing I noticed was that the dying patient often didn't want to let their loved ones know about what they saw for fear of what their reaction might be. I got to a point when I could sense when they were seeing something in the room, and would then ask them if they were seeing something.... I didn't ask leading questions. What finally convinced me was a patient who hadn't been told that her brother had died, yet she was reporting seeing him outside of her window.

He believed they were his deceased family members who had come to take him. He was in a lot of pain and was struggling for months. But he passed in his sleep 3-4 days after he saw those people. We don't know who those people were. My grandmother was in the same room and she didn't see anybody.

My mom saw Jesus at the end of her bed when she had cervical cancer…she was healed of cervical cancer at age 30 & colon cancer when she was 60. She passed away from 2 brain bleeds & dementia at age 76. I was by her bedside when she passed & I was a little afraid to see someone die in front of me….but I swear, her face was glowing. There was such peace in that room. I have witnessed too many things in my life to ever doubt there is a God & He created me!!

Great video…very reassuring. I like your approach to this. I too am, or was and still occasionally can be a sceptic. I have evidence of this from my sister. She had pancreatic cancer. I came into the room to visit her one day and she said to me oh the bed has been busy. I asked what that meant and she said that she had had a friend come visit her. He was deceased, somebody else visited as well. The sad thing was she never recognized she was terminal, or a really accepted it I guess.

Both times, family members were isolated by other family members, would not share details or were in denial. Years before my mother died from dementia, I heard her talking in her sleep, so I went into her room to check on her. She was ok. She spoke to me very calmly and said she had been dreaming and then she very casually told me that when she woke up to see me standing there asking if she was ok, my dad was standing next to me. It freaked me out so bad that i jumped in bed with her! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I asked her about it, and she said he was just standing there smiling at her. I asked what he was wearing and she said he had on his tshirt, the type men wear under dress shirts, like he often wore when he was working on something in the house or out in the yard. It makes me smile to think about it now but scared the bejeepers out of me in the moment. My mom and dad both passed in that house. The morning after my mom passed, I was awakened by the sound of her voice in the front room where she passed, calling out for her mother. I prayed for her and went back to sleep.
