Sa'ra'am is a Daemon Prince of Khorne though (unwillingly), and he's more representative of weapons. I think he says that he was born when the first weapon was made. Vashtorr looks more like a Daemon Prince of tech. in general, and is empowered by various non-killy types of achievement too.

I hold the opinion that Vashtorr is the result of the Mechanicus obsession with machines and the Machine God. That makes him the true Omnissiah!

@@licensed_beheader That may be, obsession with machines and technology predates the Mechanicus. Vashtorr could have started to exist during the dark age of technology, the uprising of the men of iron or even the industrial revolution. The worship of the Machine God started during The Age Of Strife before the Mechanicum was truly formed. Still, if Vashtorr is formed from this obsession affecting the warp... He might be more than just The Omnissiah! If he achieves godhood then he will truly be The Machine God!

I though the same thing because, Vashtorr truly is everything the Mechanicus wanted for a God… Not to mention if there are anyone more zealot in the Galaxy than the Empire it is the Mechanicum, so I am honestly surprised a manifestation of their believes hasn’t been manifested in the warp yet.

My headcanon is that Yssarile was never a real daemon prince. He was nothing but a lie made up by tzeentch himself to inspire his servants to try to revolt against him. To give them *hope* of *changing* anything.

There is also the Goddess of Tau'va. While she isnt corruptive the same way as chaos daemons she is still a warp entity that want to grow in power and influence.

However their not a chaos god, for example gork and mork aren't chaos gods but they are warp gods, same with the eldar gods. The warp isnt all chaos

Among them Yssarile was the greatest and most powerful. He did go toe to toe with a full powered Tzeentch who still had his magical Warp staff. And Tzeentch is definitely the greatest of the Chaos gods. To challenge him and be relative to his peak would mean you would have to be nearly as powerful as him.

@@BeegBruddah Do not underestimate just how truly capable Tzeentch can be when he truly wants to try to. If he wanted to he could have ended the great game. When it to knowledge, ambitions, and all type of Warp magic abilities Tzeentch is the highest and smartest of all the Chaos gods. And when he wielded his Warp staff he was even greater. And that was what Yssarile was fighting. Tzeentch is really the only one who creates endless complex highly strategic plans unlike the other Chaos gods and the one to put it in their heads without them realizing. Across the material 40k galaxy's history Tzeentch is often the mastermind behind so many events including the Horus Heresy. Unlike somebody like Khorne who loses alot and us all brawns with no intelligent thinking Tzeentch surpasses that and he knows how to use his abilities to their fullest potent extent if he wanted to.

​@@BeegBruddahTzeentch once had a magic staff that was so powerful that the other 3 Chaos Gods formed a temporary alliance to defeat him before he could cause irreversible changes with it. The staff is now broken and its fragments spread across the universe and Warp IIRC.

A small correction; Khorne didn't become enrage with Skarbrand because he attacked from behind, this is Fanon stuff, Khorne as angry because Skarbrand is a damn traitor.

"Attacked from behind" is just the popular interpretation of the text, though it's possible if Skarbrand had just straight challenged khorne to a 1v1 personally, instead of striking whilst khorne was distracted, Skarbrand would have gained significantly MORE favour from the god of murder for such a brazen challenge from his favoured bloodthirster. Among those demons Yssarile is the only known neverborn to wield the title of Demon King. Wouldn't it be great if he reawoke? And I hope Drach'Nyen becomes a free demon again. He would make an amazing main antagonist but his ascension to godhood is rather unlikely, even more than Bel'Akor. Vashtorr should become the fifth chaos god. It would make sense with the galaxy's inhabitants craving for more technology and knowledge empowering him and his important role in the Warp. And considering his personality, he would make a very different chaos god than the other deities.

Id be fine with him becoming the 5th chaos god of technology, I feel the setting needs a good shakeup in all parts, it's been the same for so long and Warhammer fantasy already did it with the horned rat ascending to the 5th chaos god in age of sigmar.
