Hi TNPrs! Project still strong and working hard. Remember TNP Patreon gets the videos first and some never post on the main channel! Here's some TNPr comments from Patreon, join the fun and full flow of TNP content: www.patreon.com/Nutnfancy "Sam Scott Awesome review, I’ll probably pick up the small honey badger. Thanks! 3w The Nutnfancy Project THank you, really great knives. LMK how you like it Sam 1 3w Jake Norden Looks like a new EDC for me then. Thanks nutn! 1 3w Gabriel Petri 36$ guess I need one in every size lmao 1 3w Ryan Quast Looks like a solid alternate for my rat-1 3w Carl Bailey The knife reviewers have been raving about these for a while. I did not know they had a small now though and darned if I didn't just order a knife yesterday. Oh well. what is one or two more. 3w PHILLIP DOUBLE U My Grandpa was a flight engineer on a PBY, the 4 engine version. He was in Tokyo bay with it. 3w BRIAN J ANDERSON Out of control ! Just ordered a small and a large in green :) 3w Michael Rodman I really like the look of this knife and I've been wanting to get a green handle knife. I'll start off with the large one and go from there. 3w John Klopp Awesome looking blade Nut'n! 3w RowdyRon Seriously good values. I was looking forward to the tabletop. Nutn, review request: Cold Steel 4MAX. I know it's w-a-y over your weight limit, but I'd be interested in your take on it. (Yes, I already own one, but would be glad to send it to you for review if you're interested). Thanks Nutn. 3w The Nutnfancy Project Remind later on that 4MAX and I may take you up on it. Just overloaded in steel right now, waiting for reviews! Thanks RR 1 3w William P Rizer This is why i love TNP. Probably would never have heard of this knife if it wasnt for Mr. Nutn. 3 3w The Nutnfancy Project Love hearing that 3w Lon N Sweet blades. Love them HVKRV's. Skateboard tape alternative: Epoxy glue and some Rustoleum epoxy anti-skid additive intended for epoxy floor paint. It's easy to tint clear epoxy with a little dab of paint added to the epoxy as you mix it- I just spray a little of the desired color on my mixing surface and let it partially dry (so most of the solvents flash off) before adding the epoxy. 3w The Nutnfancy Project Good idea 1 3w Powernoodle I bought large and small Honey Badgers after seeing them as cast members on TNP. They are just about "perfect" EDC knives, especially at this price point. Would love to see them in several different color options. 2 3w The Nutnfancy Project Nice job PN, way to move on the 3w Chad Mutchler Totally agree...I have two of these (large and meduim)...fantastic value! 2 3w mike Lovin the olight nutn 3w The Nutnfancy Project Me too! 3w James Hood Wow...those check off every box. At this price point, it’s really a no brainer to go with one of each. Excellent review as always. Thanks Nutn! (I love my TNP Patreon dragonfly so much I’m afraid to edc it) :) 2 3w The Nutnfancy Project Hello James! Glad you agree they are xlnt blades 3w Mark Strelka Another excellent review of a quality blade! 1 3w The Nutnfancy Project MARK! 2 3w Charles davis Been waiting on this review. Be cool to see a tnp edition with a black blade and some better steel 3w The Nutnfancy Project Indeed, I expedited it for ya'll! 1 3w Elliott I love the Honey Badger for its high quality and low price point. I recently gave all the guys on my squad one for Christmas. NC LEO 2 3w RY Time to buy a new knife. Any plans to review a muzzle blast forwarding device? 3w John Busch Nooooooo! Not another knife I just bought but didn't need, based on this review. I'll never be able to afford a new gun if I keep buying recommended knives. Have you looked at the CRKT Helical? It's a Ken Onion design. Long slender katana blade and deep carry clip. Just a little heavy at 3.6 oz for a 3.5 in blade. Also the clip is only RH tip up configuration, but fine with me. 1 3w Joe The helical looks nice! I like that it's a flipper. Too bad it's 3.6oz, I'd rather go boker trapper or crkt CEO are good alternatives in that genre. Helical looks like a great option! 3w Justyn Drummond Whelp, I've placed my order for a black: small, medium, & large. Thanks Nutn! 3w HappyFrancisMacomber Been carrying this one in rotation for awhile, always refreshed at how good it is in pocket and hand 3w Jonathan Leininger Awesome review. Quick question... do you plan on reviewing the Tavor 7 in 7.62x51? I don’t have one and would love to see you do a review on it. 3w Charles Steimle Just caught this video a day late. Love the vid and knife. Hit the link.... out of stock.....out of stock..... out of stock!!! You should get a commission 😆. Will be looking to this one in the future!! Thanks for all you do. 3w Patrick Richards Looks like a Buck Vantage and made in USA. 3w david rockwell Buck Vantage is a great knife. Although the Vantage Pro costs quite a bit more than Honey Badger. 3w Luc Emond I wish places like bladehq would ship to canada. Knifeworks does but they never have the inexpensive knives I want. 3w George Christakos Hey Luc, another TNPr from Canada! I was thinking about ordering one of these honey badgers from Blade HQ and noticed their shipping to Canada was $15.99. What has your experience been? They can’t ship knives due to border issues? 3w Load 1 reply Chuck Norris Fun review Nutn. Thinkin I’ll get me and my son one. 3w Nathan P Hubsch Yep, I knew I needed one. Can't believe I waited till the review on this one. I'll probably pair a small with my Cold Steel Broken Skull II in ODG. 3w Nathan P Hubsch Never mind, sold out. Lol 3w Nathan P Hubsch Still wound up buying 2, Large Tan in D2 and a small black. Western Active has them in stock. 3w Nancy Merrell-Robertson Do I need another knife? No. But I do believe I need THIS knife. And at that price, you can't go wrong. 3w The Nutnfancy Project Correct! It is awesome Nancy...cheap too! just now Jerry Hall Most excellent 2w Brad Tidball Hey Nutn, while you're on the Chinese knives, you should really check out Bestech. I bought a Bestech Lion in tan and was astounded by the quality. Very solid feel, ultra silky smooth ball bearings. They make knives anywhere from $30-$300, some neat collector pieces as well. 1 2w NoBullDoozer So far I like my Lg Blue. Honey Badger don't care, unless he wants a nice flipper. Then he cares about a TNP review. :) 1 2w Caleb11b Love my oceanaut appearance! 2w W5GLS Just purchased the medium. Will get a Spyderco Para2 next. Thanks Nutnfancy. W5GLS 2w Sam Scott Tried to decide which size to get and couldn’t, so I got all 3! Amazing value on these honeybadgers really appreciate nutnfancy for reviewing these. 2w Colin Chiluski Got the medium in blue finally, love it! 2w W5GLS So far I have purchased the mid and small size ...green and tan. I will get the large in blue this week. Thanks Nutn. 73! W5GLS....love the knives, watches,& firearms clips....I would love to see more comms content. 5d Garrett Janeski This is a knife I will be buying for sure! It screams out quality, cost-effective EDC blade to me."

My badger arrived this morning. I am in love. Head over heels. The opening is mint with those bearings. It feels good in the hand and the honeycomb scales should work great in slick conditions. My pointer finger is a little bit big to choke up high but it doesn't cut me when I do so. I already installed the zip tie and hope to do some stone washing on the blade! Thank you for introducing us!!

Just randomly picked up the tan/brown medium Honey Badger tonight at SMKW while on vacation in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville, TN. Cost $33 I think. The deployment is insane for being non-assisted. Next to my Tenacious, night be my new nearly favorite knife! And I LOVE 8CR13MOV blade steel!

I like the pachmyer grunt, its was 35 bux. When I bought it off Amazon I saw a knife on there that looked almost identical for 15 and while there are some nice additions and upgrades on the $35 version it is a solid knife with the exact same blade. The cheap version lacks gemping, clip position options, cheaper scales and the hardware is not a high quality but the blades are exactly the same (from the same maker) and it has the ball bearing style hinge. The main difference in the 2 seems to be that the higher priced grunt has a more positive and stiffer liner lock while the cheaper version is insanely smooth and fast to deploy (seems to be faster than assisted knife IMHO) because they remove just a small amount of material at the bend to lighten the spring force on the liner lock. Its and awsome value for 15 bux even if I still prefer the more refined and higher quality $35 grunt.

I’m sure this has been answered a million times, but why the zip ties? Is it to give something to push against when opening one handed?
@chrislovesgear87445 жыл бұрын
It is used as a wave feature for when taking the knife out of the pocket...the zip tie catches on the inside of the pocket as you pull the knife out of the pocket....the blade "waves " open.

Hey guys, some info on the company. It's a South African company and design. Based in Johannesburg. The name I believe is based after a popular military vehicle as well as the rough and tough honey badger we have in South Africa. Here is the link to their website honeybadgerknives.co.za/. We have had the knives here in SA for sometime and are just awesome for the price! Hope this helps.

It's so the blade automatically deploys when pulling it out of his pocket, by hooking on to the pocket. Works the same as the hook you'll find on Emerson knives. Looks goofy though!
