These MKE's are made in Turkey and they are great quality. I've handled one on a few occasions and I know some people that own one and they're are very happy with them. Ofcourse they have the standard short barrel (Europe) and all original parts. (No 92R compliance bull) They are very popular overhere.

Hey Nutn - the thing about MP5 (+ clones) and magazines: From my experience, since most variants don't have a hold-open device, you've got to lock the bolt back manually, change mag and then manually release the bolt for a "quick" and hassle-free change. That or load 1-2 rounds less than max. capacity, slam the mag in pretty hard and pull back to make sure it's seated properly before racking the bolt. Getting that procedure right is quite the training issue with MP5 series of weapons, IMHO.

I love that Marlin Camp Carbine. It looks like it could really run through some 45ACP. PFIDad might want to check out some Tripp Research mags for his 1911 gear. Those magazines are so reliable. A little on the pricey side, but increadibly reliable.

I love the KelTec Sub2K. I picked mine up at a gun show brand new a few years ago on a whim mostly because the seller had G18 mags for sale too. I figured it was inexpensive so what the hey right? Once I shot it I could not believe how accurate it is. I dont think I ever missed a target with it and I always use the "iron" sights.

I have owned and/or put many rounds downrange with each of these guns over the years. The only one I currently own out of this bunch is the Kel-Tec Sub2000 in 9mm. If I ever come across one in 40SW that someone doesn't want an arm and leg for I'll probably pick it up as well. They really need to come out with one in 45acp that either uses Grease Gun or Kriss/Glock mags. I'd buy two and integrally suppress one for sure. ;)

i had a keltec sub 2000 and never had a malfunction from it. awesome gun, but there was a little bit of bullet set back in the .40s&w though. accurate, reliable, compact and LIGHT. a 4 pound centerfire rifle. now that's impressive. only drawback is the .40 s&w kicked as much as an ar15 so unless weight and size are critical, you might as well get an ar15/m4. JMHO

@Eslamizar kinda glad the mp5 clone bitched out since for its price range i would hate to fall in love with it. sub2000 has a lot of pluses but it needs to eat all ammo, WORK ON THAT KELTEC. the eat all ammo 995TS would have won the day, if it wasn't so heavy, hipoint needs to trim the fat.
