I LOVE the optional forced transition to pistol instead of the standard transition. That was so cool how smoothly you were able to cope with it. More subgun runs please and thank you.

Also, I used to only like your backpacking and knife/camping gear reviews, but over the past months I've been watching these videos more and more. They're so cool because of the shooting as well as the comradery!

@adaman04 Thanks the good comment. Yep, both Sub2K and HiPoint are tested hard in these drills and we make conclusions at the end. If your POU can deal with a pistol caliber, they have lots to offer. The Glock Sub2K is a fave of mine.

@wildcatactual "Marlin, are you listening? GET THE CAMP CARBINE BACK INTO YOUR CATALOG!" Totally agreed, I think this series will generate even more interest on the gun. It did very very well and in .45 in really slammed that steel. I like how it looks too.

@PlatoClause "I LOVE the optional forced transition to pistol instead of the standard transition." Thanks. While testing the gear I'm practice with my own systems too. If my carbine goes down and I can't fix it within a second, I go to pistol as fast as I can...especially at these distances. The pistol isn't there to look cool, it's a tool. If you liked that, you'll like my run with the HiPoint when I run out of ammo ;-)

@1cme1 I think this Strike Fire but the accessibility of the buttons is a problem for sure. You WILL hit those buttons when you don't want to. The rotational knobs on the Aimpoints are still the best. The push and wait to see what happens UI sucks.

@ImWatchinTheTube Thanks dude, I was really wanting to get those ProMag 15 rdrs for the run but they didn't arrive in time. Nevertheless if whoever's running it and beats their previous time with it, I give them a five point speed bonus anyhow just like PFI in this part. But the mag changes do slow the run a bit, just like in real life.

I run a Sub2000, 9mm, Glock compatible. I use G19 KCI mags and also the KCI 30round mags. The 30s take a while to break in but all other mags have run 100% and zero fails on the mags and the gun through 500+ rounds so far. I shoot steel and brass case factory loads. I have a few vids on the Sub2k. I use a single point sling on it. The HiPoint99, stout shooter but mag round limits. I buy and cut Promags springs and they do work. Your reviews are always good, thanks for this one.

@nutnfancy The reason that Blazer is not recommended is because the aluminum case can rupture during the blow back operation. It is a SAFTEY issue and you are unwise to just not listen to Kel-Tec.

Really enjoyed this vid. The casual format and the BS session at the beginning was really interesting oddly enough. Just some guys out testing out some gear and having a good time. Glad you're making time to get out and do it to it guys! The Sub2000 seems like a pretty good carbine for sure, the HP for the money isn't bad, but definitely not quite as refined. The nice thing about the Sub2000 for those who carry Glocks on a regular basis is the compatibility of mags.

Love the idea of Nutnfancy project on TV in HD, i really hope it does sell. If a show like TopShot is watched enough to get 3 seasons, i really think Nutnfancy would share its viewership. Btw i mainly like the idea because then it can be a full time job, paying probably good money, and you wont have to stress and put all your free time into the project. Also a plus for w/e network checks it out, i can only imagine its cheap to film. No sets. Like Man vs. Wild.

Love the video Nutn! Thanks to you & the crew for putting it out there. I traded my Sub2000 9mm to a buddy & ended up with a Glock26 instead. She was a fun carbine, but I had some stovepipes with Winchester white box from time to time. Wish we could see the Ruger deerfield carbine in the mix. Instead of the Videos or Reloading, how about some videos OF Reloading?

I can't wait to see the rest of the series. With brass that sub2k has been 100% so far. Like I said before I have been eying those things for a long time. Also I've been getting brass cased Sellier and Bellot 9mm from BulkammoDOTcom for about the same price as their steel cased, and aluminum stuff. They usually have good 15 dollar coupon codes on case quantitys to ease the shipping.

Loved it.. Great reference to the 1972 GI Joe beard (showing your age here). PFI Dude did great with the High Point for first time shooting it and bad mouthing it. Pro's: seemed reliable and accurate when he did not rush the trigger: Con's: need higher capacity magazine, Slow to reload and a trigger job would help.

The downside of the Strikefire Red Dot scope is twofold. The Strikefire's on/off witch is on the side which has led to numerous drained batteries as a result of being laid on that side or being bumped by some object causing the switch to activate w/o the users knowledge. Also, you get what you pay for @ $150. The red dot is not very bright in bright conditions. That is why getting an Aimpoint can make all the difference.

NICE GoPro Nutn. I have a hipoint 40 S&W Carbine the First gen one. The only issue with is is that I broke the ring on the front sight. Also they do not make Hi capacity Mags for the .40 S&W.
