Some players over do it and train to much. Stamkos is probably one of the first that comes to mind as he is often injured. Take nothing from Roberts he was a warrior. Also it is well noted Gretzky pre game ritual was a hot dog and Diet Coke before the game , he did alright .

How many grams of protein, carbs, and fats should a fit 175 5’11 15 year old get?

Protein= 175 g per day, give or take Carbs= 300-375 g per day Fat= 30-50 g per day. *divided over 5-6 meals per day.

Phil Kessel does NONE of this... Maybe some 12-oz curls , getting up and walking to the kitchen for more nachos , walking his dog maybe? He has played like 900 gazillion consecutive games....and still being productive in those games. Hockey is an incredibly demanding game physically , I think some of these gimmick programs are detrimental .
