I really admire the doctors initial statement about labeling a disease. Why give it a name is what I have said for over a decade. I, was diagnosed with Lupus in 2003 and in 2004, I stopped eating all processed foods, all fast food, I started reading food labels and started cooking at home and avoided eating 3 meals a day. I was absolutely determined to reverse this " label". I did. In 2009, I was retested and no Lupus simply because the doctor said it's impossible that I had no symptoms. I had been symptom free since 2006. We moved to northern ca in Dec 2019 and my new doc said I can't post get rid of it. I had my blood retested and he was silent when results came back. My inflammation levels are in the range of a 6 to 10 year old child. Im 49 and feel amazing. Especially since practicing keto, carnivore for several years. In 2006 I would tell friends and co workers that by me eating fast food, soda and processed foods, I poisoned my immune system and therefore if I could undo the damage by eating differently, I could reverse this diagnosis/ label. Friends and coworkers could not wrap their brains around this. Ive said it for over a decade. You control inflammation and you control disease. Meanwhile im retired, living on 10 acres with hubby and we are enjoying life. I was given 10 years to live in 2003. Thank God Almighty, I was determined to figure this out. I thank God every day for giving me a mind to be able to think and debate and ask questions. I admire you Judy. You are a warrior and a blessing ❤

@@NutritionwithJudy thank you Dr. Judy💗, and yes, meat IS the main tool. Whenever anyone receives a "diagnosis" and shares it with me. I reply, " that's awesome! It's simply a wake up call to now take care of you". I then share carnivore videos including your channel 💗. Also, we can simply be the example. Tonight in Bible study, pizza will be served and if people ask, I smile and tell them how great I feel from eating ribeye and butter earlier in the day. So many there, are clearly inflamed. Several are now limiting their carbs. No judging, but I choose to simply be an example that one truly can overcome disease. Like Dr. Chaffee says, nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. This is coming from a migraine suffering, lupus gal who grew large fibroid tumors and hemorrhaged for 12 years. Thanks but no thanks 🤩

Question! So if this is a “house” issue due to homes that are not breathable and therefore attract mold and whatever else, then why not build more biological homes? I’ve seen people build natural houses like “cob houses,” for example, that are made with clay, water, dirt and straw or some kind of binding material, that do not have mold problems. After they are done building it, some will pour plaster over it to add an extra layer of protection. People use their hands to create the walls, ceilings, floors; it’s a very beautiful and kinesthetic experience from what I’m told… The oldest cob home is 10,000 years old in Europe, so they can be built to last. I think it is likely that we have been taken advantage of with the house builder business. It’s expensive and uses unnatural building materials, which when mixed with humidity and weather creates an environment for mold growth. It’s high price tag, to the point of needing to take out mortgages aka debt, I think is one of the main reasons behind the housing crisis. So why not build cobs? Cob homes can be made very cheaply, costing only thousands of dollars. Sometimes even tens of thousands if you want to go all out. Big difference compared to a $200k starter home using toxic materials that our ancestors did not use. Also, I’m shocked that the guy here prefers newly built homes (or at least he mentioned newly built hotels). There are so many unnatural, toxic materials used to build buildings these days and the offgassing of these materials can create health issues for people. Offgassing can happen for a long time; years and years and maybe some offgassing items will never stop offgassing. Food for thought!

Like many here, my list of diagnoses are pages long. Some of it is genetic, won't be cured by a protocol. My genetic disorder created several other issues, mostly pain with lax ligaments that led to si joint disfunction and low back instability. That being said, everything else, such as my arthritis and fibromyalgia, I believe can definitely be mitigated. Is my fatigue, inability to lose weight and several other symptoms related to CIRS? IDK but I have 11 symptoms of the 13 cluster. I understand that doesn't mean that I actually have CIRS unless I test, but I am disabled on a fixed income and state medical, so testing is out of reach. However, I tested allergic to mold at 10 yrs. old and have been exposed many times over my life, as well as bitten by a tick. Even after my hEDS (hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) diagnoses, I thought naming it would solve everything. It was only the beginning. I have since been diagnosed with more medical issues and have several others that have gone undiagnosed, but no support from current PC (due to state medical changing these people every couple of years. MY best bet would be to save money and see a Holistic doctor, but even that seems out of reach. I can test for mold in my home, even though, like this doctor, I live in the high desert, but have seem black mold in several people's homes. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest all my life and lived in one of the rainiest towns in Washington for 9 years and winter (rainy season) always made me sick and super depressed. I just thought I had S.A.D. I didn't really have succuss losing weight until I moved to Central Oregon and found Paleo, switched to Keto and lost 60 pounds, but have been gaining 30 losing 30 on and off for 3 years and in the time, I switched to Carnivore, which helped, but I never was able to stick to it. I look back and see that my journey is closely connected to my emotional health. I have to work on that hand in hand with Carnivore detox, which I just started back on this past week. I wish now I had gone to Naturopathic school, instead of massage school, because I feel someone like me has be my own doctor. Unless you have good insurance or money, no one wants to help you. (My experience) Yes, the suicidal ideations over the years have been whispering in my brain, but as a single mother, I had to be there for my kids. First of all I love what your doing and I love all the videos. I have CIRS and being 41- I know I was definitely born with it. I live in central Texas last 18months I’m from Central Coast Cali for 22yrs and born and raised (17yrs) in The panhandle of Texas. That being said I’ve never seen moldy homes like I’ve seen here in Texas as it’s mind blowing to me. In Cali The building codes must be stricter because you never see homes like that over there. However working in a salon atmosphere for over 20 years in California a lot of people had mold illness and I couldn’t help but wonder if it wasn’t due to all the wine drinking and the crops being sprayed constantly. so many crops of wine, vegetables, fruit, nuts etc. lots of agriculture and not enough rain almost every single year for the last 12 years. My CIRS has changed since my last mold work & home exposure as I can’t even be around people that live or work in a moldy building and if I go into a building that has mold I know that it’s there. In fact I just got off of a plane and the lady sitting next to me definitely lived in a moldy home it was hard to sit next to her on the flight. My mom has a bird in her small home and I was also affected by the bird droppings and feathers. She loves her bird she tries to keep everything as clean as she can but bird poop is a dried fungus and it’s not meant to be indoors. You can hear in her lungs that she starting to suffer from problems from her bird that she loves

What about all of us renters out there? If our rentals have mold, what do we do? We don't want to pay for testing if we don't know if we'll be able to do anything about the results? Moving could be an option I guess, but it would most likely to be another rental with another landlord? ??? What, make sure we get that rental tested before we move in? I'm really not seeing how this works with renters?

Hi Judy! Thank you. This was bitter sweet to listen to. I’ve been dealing with cirs for almost 20 years but didn’t find out what was going on till about 11 years ago. They the journey I was diagnosed with different autoimmune issues including Lupus. I found you bc of my search for Mary ruddick. I’ve worked with many many drs including one of the top shoemaker mold doctors but haven’t had success yet. I decided to take a totally different approach and start working with Mary ruddick and heal the gut and start carnivore. I’m only 5 weeks in. But based on my symptoms and history and knowledge of mold I don’t think the diet will work but maybe I’ll be wrong. We’ll have to see. My hertsmi is only a 10 in my new apartment so that’s considered good. but everytime I leave and go On vacation I can see improvements and when I return my symptoms flare up again. Mold and cirs is a whole different animal. Most practitioners have no idea how to fix a cirs pt. Cirs people have it rough they go broke bc of the illness, have to stop working and socializing bc their so sick, we lose tens of thousands of dollars in positions bc we have to get rid of most everything we’ve ever owned and many lose their homes and live in tents and campers in an attempt to heal. It’s a rough Illness for sure. I think carnivore is a step in the right direction but like u said... doesn’t move the needle all the way. Thank you for your passion for health. Since I found u last week I’ve been hooked on your videos your true compassion for helping others. Question... curious for the patients that still are not healing. What is their hertsmi score. The lowest I’ve been able to get into is a 10. But it seems to high for me still. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Nicole, email me (customersupport@nutritionwithjudy.com-- they'll route the email to me). I just made a NwJ CIRS protocol that connects limbic system retraining + fatty acid flushes + meat-only carnivore + Shoemaker's protocol. I've seen a lot of improvements with the CIRS clients but it's not perfect. I'll share it with you so you have other avenues to see what may help. (Most of my clients have only a few markers out of range instead of all the CIRS markers). Carnivore is a step in the right direction.

What makes you say the lady (client) with CIRS who started healing was a unicorn? Is that just because getting out of exposure and getting the right diagnosis usually takes a long time and includes multiple barriers? Or do you mean that CIRS patients usually don’t get better even when correctly diagnosed, out of exposure and being properly treated?

can hypothalamic dysfunction from mold toxicity still be healed if you also have hypothalamic damage from 20 years of high dose oxycodone use for chronic pain secondary to a collagen disorder, Hypermobility type Ehlers Danlos syndrome? I have been carnivore for 3 years, use LDN, cbd oil, and all the other supplements mentioned that may cover up the blood work results of mold toxicity. And all my bloodmarkers are still in the wrong direction.

Hi Judy. May I ask a question? On carnivore i find that a fatty steak with lots of its own fat keeps me satiated and full much better than a leaner steak with loads of added butter. is there a reason for this? Does anybody else find the same? its weird as the ratio of protein and fat would be roughly the same, however the leaner steak with loads of butter isnt as filling
@NutritionwithJudy2 жыл бұрын
It could be the processing and digestion/absorption of the fats. The composition of the butter and the tallow-life fat is different. If the butter is pasteurized, it's also not as natural as raw. Many of my unwell clients can tolerate animal fat but not butter so all fats aren't equal-- maybe in macros but other than that, they are not the same.

@@paulwiffin2452 Again, it depends on if the butter is pasteurized or not! 😉 Pasteurization may not SOUND like a big deal, but it's a HUGE deal! I think the easiest transition to a Carnivore Diet, is to fast atleast 42-72 hours. The longer the better. Depending on how long you’ve been eating a poor diet. It’s also a great idea to fast atleast 1 or 2 days a week when you actually start the Carnivore Diet.

This Carnivore diet is all the rage right now because people feel better almost immediately. This is because it is an elimination diet. Elimination diet have help many people to hault an impending health crisis just like all elimination or starvation diets do. However, this is only a temporary fix to alleviate bad symptoms. If kept on an extended elimination diet void of real health foods the body will start to die internally and then externally this is because of the lack of soluble and insoluble fibers that the human body needs for optimum health and longevity. Just like the real carnivores of the animal kingdom. They are strong and agile in order to hunt and feed there packs but they have an extremely short life span. When they go back to study the carcasses of these animals who were designed for this kind of lifestyle they have many many diseases internally and thus they die young. Humans were never designed to live as carnivores and thus the longterm prognosis is very grim. Yes, you may feel better and may be even look better but all the scientific resaerch shows that this lifestyle promotes short lifespans. So, do your own research and proceed at your own risk.
