People have a misconception that peanut butter is a high protein source. Peanut is a fat with some protein. It’s been a while since I’ve had Nuts N More, but as you said, it had an artificial taste. Scoop out the Jif and throw some chocolate chips on it. PB&Co has a great White Chocolate. Thanks for a great review.

Truth in advertising?! What’s that?! 🙈 I’d prefer Jif, just like you. The price alone would discourage me but after watching your reviews, I’m even more convinced I’m not missing out by passing on these 😂 Thank you!!

People buy the ones that you stir for the ingredients. As a pb lover I've found my body change for the positive having going more natural route including pb. Limited ingredients for the win!

These both sound good to eat straight from the jar. Thanks for the review.

Highly requesting you , Kevin and your daughter try Thai Street Food Kitchen in Lexington to review various apps and entrees! We think you two would enjoy the Chicken satay, the chickan pad thai, the sticky rice with peanut sauce, and all the various stir fry dishes, especially vegetable Kai Pra Ram!

When was the last time you ate at this location?

I still eat the Peanu Butter Co. Vanilla powdered PB since you first recommended it to me. It's so good and I even like it more than their White Chocolatey Wonderful I used to buy.

I’m glad you still like it 😃

For me (as a non-pb fan) if I had to choose, I'd rather go with a flavored peanut butter, since I personally can't tolerate the taste/texture of it plain. However I'd be doing what you said and would be buying a cheaper brand, like PB & Co... Then I could just add my own toppings to break up the texture.

Thanks for the review, Tami and Kevin! I grew up on JIF and have wanted to try these specialty butters, but I can't justify the prices. I have tried some that I've won that were good! Kiki butter has a different but very addictive taste, albeit a bit runny, and I've enjoyed the 'protein' butters I've gotten! The most recent nut butter I won is one I think you would like! LESS THAN 40 CALORIES PER SERVING!!! It's called Professor Nutz, is very expensive, and I believe the science was just recently FDA approved. Basically, they use a fiber that prevents your body from digesting the fats from the butter, so it's nearly all protein. I've tried Salty Caramel so far. It's on the runny side, but it sure as heck is peanut butter! Let me know if you plan to give it a try!! 🤗

I’d love the see the sources of that science lol. That’s beyond unnatural.

I would much rather stick with my PBFit. It's only $12.47 for a 24 oz. container. It's 60 calories for for 2 Tbsp. and tastes good to me and it's very affordable.

@@TamiDunn For sure! I just thought I'd bring it up since it's exactly like normal peanut butter, just 37-38 calories. I would never personally buy it because of the insane price, but I'm very glad I could try it! If you haven't tried it yet, I really like mixing PBFit/PB2 with sugar-free maple syrup! It adds a lot more volume and makes it taste a lot better, in my opinion! 🤗😋

Hi Tami and Kevin, I'm not sure what happened to PB. At school, I remember if you had PB in your sandwich kids on nearby tables would all be hunting down for the culprit who had PB... Now, unless it's me, it doesn't smell like it did. Thank you!!! So much PB!!!

Jif is still less than $3 at my local store. Those natural style PB's that need stirring are a pain. A hand mixer with one beater can make it easier but still a hassle. The main reason for them is less hydrogenated oils.

So I checked out their website… from what I gather they substitute whey protein for about half the peanut butter… the calorie and protein content of the result is similar to traditional peanut butter but they claim that the protein is more complete and it has more amino acids (so essentially healthier) my thought is that unless you have special considerations, like being an endurance athlete, regular pb is just as good… if you eat a balanced diet these supplements aren’t necessary… Also, do not feed these to your pets… they contain a sweetener that could be bad for them… dogs love pb (in general) Peanut butter & Co is soooooo good!!!
