I love that style of roll carts, back when I was in the dealership I took my macsimizer home and just worked out of a mac 5 drawer cart for 3 years as a lead diesel tech. You'd be amazed how much shit can get stuffed in one.

@@NutsandBoltswithTone It's the flip up one they sell for the carts. It's pretty strong, I had my 3/8 14.4v impact, my MG725, a bunch of sockets, extensions, pry bars, wrenches, etc on it today taking a DPF out of a T680 and it didn't flex at all. Tool truck brands are no better than any number of internet brands... just more expensive

I appreciate your comment but I have to disagree, there is a difference between them. Now there are some good brands out there but there is a difference.

@@NutsandBoltswithTone it used to be that way, but with brands like sunex, Capri etc. anymore. There no other reason than Convenience by going with tool brands. I know mechs working in the mines in Wyoming that say there is no difference overall other than the prices.

In some tools yes. Ratchets i disagree. I have yet to hold in my hand and use a ratchet that feels better then a snap on ratchet. In the end they all get the job done. Im not arguing that one brand is better then the other. I have multiple brands and they are all good.

@@NutsandBoltswithTone there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting all tool truck brand tools. but at the same time trying to tell someone else that they are the best is just Dishonest. No one should be telling anyone else what to buy, bias is best kept to one’s self.

I had a new guy at the shop today he called to ask if he needed an impact then called back to ask if he needs sockets .....we know where this goes ...... he broke a caliper bolt and stripped a drain plug on the same car using all my tools .......... this trade is a lifestyle live by the wrench or get the fuck out its not play time..... be careful who u hire

A new tech (millenian ) be like how many batteries you use on those power tools and what voltage are those 18v 20v and amperage 😅😅😅😅
@NutsandBoltswithTone
@NutsandBoltswithTone 4 жыл бұрын
The batteries are 14.4 volts. I have 7 batteries, I have 4 cordless ratches but only use 3 of them, 3/8 impact, 1/4 drive impact, a adjustable light and I just got an amazingly bright uv light for leak diagnosis. I am not sure what the amperages are. Thank you for the comment.
