I have a Ninja blender (was a gift from my Mom & Uncle) and my strawberry ice cream turned out just fine. There are other videos on here where ice cream is being made and with the cheapie WalMart brands; Their ice cream dishes seemed to turn out just fine. Improvise & use what you have...Other than that, nice video.

How does your vitamix stay in good shape? Mine looks all beat up and I barely had it a year LOL. I use it everyday 2 times a day.

Unfortunately, the Ninja doesn't have the blending power of the VitaMix... the VitaMix can turn ice cubes & liquid into a smooth ice cream consistency. But, this recipe may come out well enough if you keep the quantities smaller so that the ice can blend well. Let me know how it goes! =) God Bless! ~Erika
