I'm not sure, but due to my testing of Lectern with the 15 pages book, it seems that redstone signal won't work the same thing of JAVA, I think it would be the reason. Edited: I just found that Lectern with the 30 pages book on it will send out 1~15 signal when it turned to page 2~30 on bedrock edition. Edited2:Might be the Comparators problem, it's different from JAVA.

Or I just have to play java Minecraft

Using different coloured blocks for each redstone circuit is such a great idea! It never occurred to me, and I've never seen any other builders do it, either. Thanks for the tip! It's really cool that books can be read like this (pun not intended) by redstone, too! I don't think I've ever seen anything use that mechanic before, which is sad because it's really cool! I'm not too big on the crucifix imagery, but honestly this build is so lovely and it goes so well that I think I'll keep it when I build it anyways.

Its a lovely build, I did it in my farm and decorated the second level to store my potions (which I don't have time to make any lol). But its lovely and it works perfectly. The only issue I have and I wouldn't know how to fix is that whenever I am collecting my potions, one of the water bottles gets dumped in the hopper below the brewling stand. And it always happens, but I wouldn't know how to stop that hooper from collecting.

Hm, sounds like a redstone tick timing issue. Not sure if there's an easy fix for that. Have you tried the help channel on our discord server? Over 1000 people there to help you out!

Just to let anyone know, make sure no redstones are near the Hoppers as well, as they activated the Hoppers, meaning they don't push the items forward. I had my items stuck because I had a Redstone block put there to use Redstone lights but it was a mistake.

I saw the video of the original creator of the restone part. Its not possible to add the new potions bc its only one lectern. What can you do is replace the potion you dont use and add the ones you want. Hope it helps!

What if I don't want to add Nether wart? The potion of weakness for example doesn't need Nether wart. Other than that, your videos are truly underrated. A tip (not criticism) is to lower the music volume so that we can hear your voice better. Keep up the good work!

Thanms for the feedback! About the nether wart, maybe take it out of the brewing stand before it is processed al the way? I would have to dive into it. I focus mainly on the aesthetic part, for mechanics I have to admit I don't have all the answers ready to go. I am very interested to hear how you solve the issue!

I have a question. Since 1.21 added four new potions, any plans on doing an updated tutorial with the new potions? Here's what 1.21 added, with their respective ingredients: Cobweb Use to create a Potion of Weaving. Slime Block Use to create a Potion of Oozing. Breeze Rod Use to create a Potion of Wind Charging. Stone Use to create a Potion of Infestation.

Hi nuvola, my redstone setup was not working first, but then i replaced the repeater at 4:04 and the repeator in front of it (the perdicular one) lit up. and now my setup is working :). Any idea why that might have happened?

I could not get the lecture system to work in Bedrock. I went back to the original creature’s video, and there was the suggestion to use a 30 page book, but I could not figure it out. 😢 I found a button system that had a similar size layout, so I could still make this build work in Bedrock. I love your builds. I always modify them a little to fit my personality and specific needs. (For example, my church has some trap doors in that unused space, that lead to my underground trading hall)

@@nuvolamc No. In bedrock the book and quill shows 2 pages at once, so I have 30 pages. The problem is that, when you turn a certain pages, 5-6 for example, it activates all droppers up to the specified, 1st, 2nd and 3rd for example. I'm thinking of implementing comparators in subtract mode with some kind of signal counter, like furnace. But haven't had the time to experiment

Unfortunately not. I implemented a completely different sistem when you press a button for every individual ingredient in the main entrance and on the side you automatically replace refilled bottles in the brewingstand

So regarding the actual brewery, I built it and it works but for some reason it keeps skipping pages 12 and 13(blaze powder and ghast’s tear) and replaces it with page 14(turtle helmet)??

Interesting. Are the repeaters on the right ticks and have you placed the comparators and redstone dust lines correctly? It seems like the redstone signal that's created when you push the button doesn't reach the right spot in line.

That will still work. It's using the page numbers as redstone signal strength, not the text 😉

For some reason, when I press the button to collect the potions I made, only two of them are placed in the barrel. I know that the comparator responsible for that is not supposed to be lit, but mine is and idk how to fix it. Can someone please give me a tip?

Is it just me or is the final build 1 block shorter on the cross side? It seems you end up with 2 windows there and a 2 gap after the barrels but in the tutorial it's 3 windows and a 3 gap after the barrels when done xD it threw me off so much thinking I'd gone wrong somewhere as I was building it block for block. xD

@@nuvolamc No no, not a criticism, just an observation. Farm works perfectly. I love it so much. I'm just terrible when it comes to aesthetic design so try to follow block for block. I usually then tinker with the redstone once I've built it and have a better understanding of how it's working. I ended up adapting it slightly using the 16 barrels at the back for netherwart plus ingredients for all 15 potions. I had to rig up a glowstone dust, redstone dust, fermented spider eye and dragons breath dispensers in the front end. This build has become my favourite part of my world. I make potions just as I love using it and it's making me think about them more as it feels so interactive.

I highly suggest chrcking out the Lectern on the minecraft wiki and scroll down to Redstone Signal. It explains how a book works with the lectern. You might be able to figure it out! Bedrock books have 2 pafes at once basically, which means you will need double the amount of pages I think. Other than that, building it in a single chunk might decrease the chance of misfires (i.e. getting a different item than you wanted)

Note this build states for Java not Bedrock he is admin. and is very good for stating it for Java alot of admins don't state Java or Bedrock and it pisses me off when I build it to see if it works on Java I have both Java and Bedrock for this reason so maybe you Bedrock people should look into buying a Java version I find there are more builds for Bedrock than Java so it is what it is.

Hey there! If the dispenser says it fails, it means there isn't anything in there to fire. It sounds like your hoppers might not be connected properly?

Sadly, the lecture system does not work in bedrock. I found a push bottom system of similar size that I was able to use and still complete this build.
