Can Agatha Beat a Hardcore Nuzlocke of Pokémon Fire Red?
Agatha is the Poison Type elite 4 member in Kanto, though I always think of her as a ghost user tbh. Regardless, I have made a ROM Hack where you play as Agatha, in an attempt to see if she can rise above her station, and defeat the entire Elite 4, using hardcore nuzlocke Rules.

2) If A Pokémon Faints, I Cant Use Them

Dang I'm sure altering FireRed to play as Agatha must've taken some time! It looks amazing and really boosts the quality of the gameplay! Also adding Misdreavus to the encounter pool at Lavender Tower was a nice touch! Amazing video as always!

Her Crobat and Gengar were the only challenges honestly. Gengar was ahead of it’s time in those days

I'd argue that gengar really took off in Gen 4, once shadow ball was a legit special attacking move. Not benefeiting from good STAB moves prior to that kinda hurt gengars appeal IMO. Course he was still plenty versatile.

Awesome video Always felt Agatha should've had a Nidoqueen just to playoff her rivalry with Oak who has the Nidorino that battles Gengar in the opening If hadn't done Alola Ghost run already I'd have suggested making that the Agatha Alola playthrough to since has Alolan Marowak in Let's Go For Lance, should definately have him use an Arbok since like Charizard and Gyarados belongs in the Dragon Egg Group so can have a full team in FRLG with Charizard, Gyarados, Arbok, Seadra/Kingdra, Dragonite and Aerodactyl Or if do Let's Go then can even get the Alolan Eggxecutor trade for a seventh For Bruno, will you be making Hitmontop and/or Steelix available without national dex? Also would be cool if did Koga for Kanto and/or Johto games for his rise to Elite Four since lots of good poison types

Same! I mean in gen 1 the only real attacking ghost move, besides night shade, was lick, so maybe they figured it should be physical. But yeah, it makes gengar not as good as he should be till gen 4.

Great run .sadly the two poison pokemon hasnt poison attacks 😢 there are so great in later gens and gengar too. Ok in fr the attacks are much better then in gen 1 😊

'agatha could run team rocket better than giovanni'-didn't she (and I think several other elite 4 members) actually run team rocket in one of the pokemon manga? Might have been pokemon adventures. I think there were other gym leaders in team rocket as well rather than just giovanni kind of a shame you blew up the weezing for no real reason. Would have been nicer if you'd have been able to beat the run deathless Doing runs of Kanto as the elite 4-so Lorelei, Agatha, Lance, Rival, and that random Hiker that wandered in?

Iirc it was just Sabrina koga and Surge who were In team rocket, The Elite four decided to be some sort of Proto-Team Plasma that wanted to liberate pokemon

The normal way, just with friendship. If your using this Rom, you should have started with the national dex.

@@thoriqrizqullah5072 nope! The soothing bell makes a Pokémon like you faster, but to evolve golbat to crobat just needs to like you. You can raise friendship by leveling up, walking a ton, stuff like that.

Normally in Fire Red you can't evolve Golbat until post game and you'll need high friendship (soothe bell makes friendship happen faster but not require, also not sure if that item exists in this game) but he hacked this rom to make golbat evolve in the main game by giving him the national dex from the start

Really? Huh. I just applied the path to a base fire red and it worked fine for me. I'm not sure what version fire red, so maybe that's an issue? I'll look more into it tonight
